Don't expect Leighton Meester to use the 'L' word any time soon.

"I always resist falling in love," the Gossip Girl actress, 23, tells British Glamour in its December issue. "My problem is, I lose interest. Every time I've fallen in love, it's just momentary."

And Meester certainly hasn't kept in touch with any of her ex-boyfriends – in fact she would rather forget them completely.

"Honestly," she says, "I've hated every boyfriend I've had."

Leighton Meester understands that being on a buzzed-about show automatically puts her in the spotlight – but she doesn't have to like it.

"I don't want most of what comes along with all of this," says the Gossip Girl star in the September issue of Harper's Bazaar, on newsstands Aug. 18.

One particular downside of fame is a rumored sex tape of the star with an ex-boyfriend that has allegedly been shopped around. "[The tape] is not real, so it makes me sort of sad," says the actress. "It's unfortunate that it got carried as far as it did."

Ed Westwick and Jessica Szohr have already taken PDA-filled vacations in Miami and L.A. They've even shared a double date with Westwick's parents in New York's Chelsea neighborhood. Now, it seems like they've gotten the seal of approval from their Gossip Girl castmates as well.

"It fell into place quite quickly and we're all super excited for them," said Amanda Setton, who plays catty Penelope Shafai on the show.

So was she surprised by the on-set hookup? "When two people that you know separately get together, you're always like 'Oooh, what's that about?' " Setton told PEOPLE at the H&M Celebrates Matthew Williamson party in New York Tuesday night. "They really balance each other. I'm just happy that they're happy."

Kelly Rutherford's Ex Complains Gossip Girl Work Is 'Grueling'

Kelly Rutherford's estranged husband says that the actress's often 20-hour workdays filming Gossip Girl take a toll on their 2-year-old son, Hermes, according to court documents obtained by PEOPLE.

"The filming lifestyle in New York is very hectic and stressful from what I have personally witnessed," Daniel Giersch said in a Jan. 9 court filing.

According to his papers, "Often times the TV show calls pressuring [her] to leave the hotels, asking her where she is, telling her that she is late and asking her to get into the van [which takes her to the set immediately]. Usually [her] stress causes Hermes to start crying which then causes [her] to be frustrated toward him. I do not believe this is a healthy lifestyle for him."
