1. She likes hitting the road: Fancy jets? First class? Nah, that's not de Matteo's style. In July, when the actress moved from New York to Los Angeles, where she's filming Friends spin-off Joey, she opted for a road trip in an RV. Her traveling companions: her parents (Al, a sofa-bed manufacturer, and Donna, a playwright), her musician boyfriend, Shooter Jennings (son of late country legend Waylon), and her two pooches (Charlie, a bulldog, and Cyrus, a Great Dane).

He's still the same old Friend, but Matt LeBlanc, 37, is running with a new crowd this fall. "Change can be good," says the actor, whose spinoff Joey drops him in L.A. with supporting players Drea de Matteo (The Sopranos) and Jennifer Coolidge (Legally Blonde) as his sister and agent, respectively. LeBlanc recently talked about adjusting to solo sitcom life, and how he's handled another new addition: his 7-month-old, Marina.

WELCOME MATT: NBC offered an advance screening of the entire pilot episode of Joey to advertisers and TV journalists on Monday – and the crowd laughed plenty of times, while several critics chimed in with their positive reactions. Joey, of course, stars Matt LeBlanc reprising his Friends role as the big-hearted, if empty-headed aspiring actor Joey Tribbiani. Clearly, the network believes in Joey. The only time in recent memory that entire pilots were previewed was for The Cosby Show and The Golden Girls.
