Live with Regis & Kelly

It's not exactly an Oscar or Emmy, but it's no kick in the pants, either. Darryl Wu, 11, of Seattle, was named best junior achiever on Friday's Live with Regis and Kelly – which entitles him to a "Relly" award, recognizing the show's best moment of the past year (as determined by the morning program's audience).
Wu, like his predecessor last year for the same title, is a "Mathlete" – in fact, the youngest ever in the 26-year-history of the national math bee, the MATHCOUNTS National Competition. In July, Wu went to the White House for a ceremony in recognition of his academic honor.
"Receiving the Relly at school was a surprise," said Wu. "Since I am only in seventh grade, I want to keep competing and look forward to the opportunity of coming back to the show and hopefully winning this honor again."

Bickering as they never had before – at least in their four years on TV together – Live! With Regis and Kelly hosts Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa acted uncharacteristically hostile toward one another on Tuesday morning's show, prompting the show's producer to rush to the duo's defense.
