Welcome to the 21st century, an era so evolved that hours of cringe-worthy moments are now immortalized by reality TV for your viewing pleasure.
Many an overly optimistic contestant or ill-advised celebrity has welcomed cameras into their lives, only to have their most humbling memories captured – or manufactured – by producers and broadcast in glorious high definition.

It seems like decades ago that Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson were the first couple of reality TV – but on Tuesday's Watch What Happens Live, host Andy Cohen couldn't seem to forget!
When Lachey, 39, and the rest of 98 Degrees visited Cohen's talk show, the singer's ex-wife and her family were hot topics.

Teenyboppers of the 90s, rejoice!
98 Degrees is back in the studio and reliving old times. Nick and Drew Lachey, Jeff Timmons and Justin Jeffre have reunited for the first time since September 2001.
"We took a break, but we never broke up," Timmons told PEOPLE at the Full Sail University Hall of Fame celebration on Friday. "We always thought we'd get back together someday."

With some wags already likening them to the vaunted Sonny and Cher, "Newlyweds" stars Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson are preparing for their own one-hour, one-shot variety show to air on April 11, to be called -- quite obviously -- "The Nick and Jessica Variety Hour."
