Get ready for the most intense season of So You Think You Can Dance yet.

In an exclusive first look at season 12 of the dance competition, the judges explain the reality show's new twist, in which the dancers are separated into two categories.

"We're looking for the top 10 stage dancers, which includes tap, ballroom, ballet, contemporary, and the top 10 street dancers – salsa, street, tango and, of course, all the hip-hop," says show creator Nigel Lythgoe. "Then we join them together and all hell's gonna break loose."
