The chickens are finally coming home to roost on Sons of Anarchy.
In this exclusive trailer for the FX motorcycle drama that will kick off its seventh and final season next month, SAMCRO President Jax Teller (Charlie Hunnam) growls that he's already lost his wife, Tara, and "he's not going to lose his club, too."
As has been the case for every jaw-dropping season of the outlaw biker series, it appears that heads will surely roll as Jax seeks vengeance for the violent stabbing death of his wife in the season 6 finale.

Calling all Sons of Anarchy super fans! You already know season 7 will mark the end of the FX hit (sigh), but good news: a SAMCRO prequel might be on the horizon.
"I've had discussions with the network about it, and I think they are open to it," Sutter told fans at the Sons for Sandy Relief event in Asbury Park, N.J., on Sunday. "I think there is something really interesting about the origins of the club. And to do a period piece set in the '60s, post-Vietnam could be kind of cool. I don't think we would dovetail and start right after the series ended, but it's something I'm potentially excited about it."
Sutter was joined by wife Katey Sagal (whose portrayal as matriarch Gemma Teller Morrow on the show earned her a Golden Globe Award in 2011) and cast members Kim Coates (Tig Trager) and Theo Rossi (Juice) at the benefit, which raised over $66,000 for the Hurricane Sandy New Jersey Relief Fund and Staten Strong.

Charlie Hunnam just avoided the possibility of having to address his decision to drop out of Fifty Shades of Grey.
On Wednesday, the actor, 33, failed to make his first scheduled public appearance since the big casting shakeup was announced over the weekend.
Hunnam – who was set to play the erotic film's lead role, Christian Grey – was slated to attend the Paley Center's benefit gala honoring the FX network until the "last minute," an event rep told PEOPLE, without providing any further explanation.

After Johnny Lewis tried to break into a woman's bedroom window last February, leaving her feeling "really creepy" and forever fearful, the Sons of Anarchy actor received a harsh appraisal in his probation report.
The 28-year-old Lewis had descended from a promising Hollywood career and glittering social life as boyfriend of Katy Perry to a sordid life of petty crime, money troubles, homelessness and suspected drug abuse and mental illness.
"This officer is very concerned for the well being of not only the community but that of the defendant," his probation officer lamented in the report last May. "The defendant will continue to be a threat to any community he may reside [in]."

Sons of Anarchy actor Johnny Lewis fell to his death from a building in Los Angeles – moments after he allegedly beat his landlady, an 81-year-old woman, to death, authorities say.
Lewis, 28, who played Kip "Half-Sack" Epps on the FX show and who once dated Katy Perry, was found lying in a driveway in the Los Feliz neighborhood near Hollywood on Wednesday, while a woman identified as Catherine Davis was found dead of apparently blunt force trauma inside the building.
The upstairs part of the building had been ransacked. Police also found the body of a cat that had apparently been beaten.
