On Monday, Murray, 30, who ended his eight-month engagement to season 10's Bachelorette Andi Dorfman in January, shared a picture on Instagram with Chris Soules contestant Iaconetti and a large group of women.

Iaconetti, who was known for major meltdowns and in-tact virginity on The Bachelor's 19th season, is seen smiling next to Atlanta-native Murray in the picture.

"Had such a great time in NYC, it's always nice meeting new friends! #AdvoCareInNYC @lindsiechrisley @ashley_iaconetti," Murray wrote on Instagram. The former baseball player was in New York to promote his new partnership with fitness and nutrition brand AdvoCare.

Britt Nilsson was an early favorite on this season of The Bachelor, earning the first impression rose from Chris Soules – but her journey to love with Soules took an unexpected turn, leading to a dramatic elimination.

Nilsson told PEOPLE that she did regret processing her "private emotions out loud" during a very awkward group date, but now the Hollywood-based waitress may have the chance to redeem herself as she faces off against Kaitlyn Bristowe to become the next Bachelorette.

"I'm super grateful," she said of the opportunity to be a part of the popular franchise again. "Part of me is scared, but the more I think about it, [I realize] it's just going to be what it's going to be. If Kaitlyn's husband is in that group of men, it's going to work out for her, and I'll go home and I'll have to be okay with that. But I'm excited!"

Former Bachelorettes are not happy about Monday night's Bachelorette shocker.

Host Chris Harrison revealed on the air that the next season of The Bachelorette will involve not one but two ladies – Britt Nilsson and Kaitlyn Bristowe will both be vying for the attention of 25 men competing for them.

"We actually decided not to decide: For the first time in Bachelorette history, we're gonna have two Bachelorettes," Harrison said. "The 25 men on Night 1 are going to have the ultimate say about who they think would make the best wife."

Needless to say, the Internet is not especially thrilled with this decision, which is being viewed as a bit of slap in the face to feminism – and former Bachelorettes are leading the charge.

Sean Lowe may owe his marital happiness to The Bachelor, but that doesn't mean he's always up for toeing the party line.

A day after ABC announced that it would feature two bachelorettes for season 11, Lowe spoke out via his personal blog that the plan to feature Britt Nilsson and Kaitlyn Bristowe vying for the affection of 25 men was "downright degrading."

"No one likes the idea," Lowe wrote, adding that his wife Catherine, "thinks it's disgusting."

As America now knows, not one but two women, Kaitlyn Bristowe and Britt Nilsson, were named potential Bachelorettes for the next season of the ABC show, squaring off on night one. Shocking news for fans, but the women themselves are taking it in stride.

"I'm trying to be really positive about the situation," Bristowe tells PEOPLE of vying to officially become the next Bachelorette. "It's definitely not ideal, but it's an incredible opportunity. And if the outcome is me meeting the guy I spend the rest of my life with, then it is all worth it."

Nilsson, who weathered a storm of jealousy and drama during her time in the Bachelor house, says she's "grateful" to even be in the running.

"I don't know if they've ever had someone who has been controversial," Nilsson says. "I don't feel like I did anything wrong, but people dislike me. I don't really get that but it's true. So I'm super grateful."
