Jon Gosselin's Double Date with New Kate – and Jill Zarin!

What does a dad of eight do when hitting the tony Hamptons? Hang out with a real housewife, of course.
Jon Gosselin and his increasingly frequent companion, tabloid reporter Kate Major, continued their high-profile visit to the Hamptons over dinner Wednesday with their host Michael Lohan and two other couples: Real Housewives of New York City's Jill Zarin and husband Bobby Zarin, as well as Southampton Mayor Mark Epley and his wife, Marianne.
Despite the heavy socializing, "I miss my kids," Gosselin told PEOPLE.
Asked if his houseguests were enjoying each other's company, Lohan told PEOPLE, "Absolutely, they're getting along very well."
Said Major, "I love the Hamptons."

Celeb Marriage Proposals: How Do Stars Pop the Question?

On screen, Ryan Reynolds had no choice but to put a ring on it (Sandra Bullock coerced him!) in The Proposal. But for these stars in their off-screen lives, no charades were involved – and in one case no ring, either – when the big question was popped … just a nude beach and a sports car to help set the mood.
Jason Biggs, married to Jenny Mollen: "I proposed twice. I proposed once spontaneously – I didn't even have a ring. I used an earring. We were in St. Martin. I just bought her these earrings and I took one out of her ear and proposed to her with it. And then I got a ring and did a more formal proposal on Valentine's Day in Big Sur. It was really cool."
Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon, married to Michael Nilon: "We broke up for three months. I went to a movie premiere and he [was there], hoping he would see me and I was hoping I would see him. At the end of the night we didn't see each other and I thought he left but he was waiting for me. He came up to me and asked, "Will you marry me?" And I was like, Yes!"

Kelly Bensimon Calls Assault Charge 'Unsettling' after Court

Even though the cameras weren't rolling on her reality show, Kelly Bensimon was the star of a personal drama on Tuesday. The Real Housewives of New York player reported to a Big Apple courthouse to face a misdemeanor assault charge after she allegedly attacked her boyfriend, Nick Stefanov.
Bensimon, 40, was arrested March 5 for punching Stefanov in the face and entered a not guilty plea at the time.
"I'm really upset by the entire process," she told Extra after the Tuesday hearing. "My beautiful girls and I are being exposed to a horrible situation. I just think it just unsettling."

Kelly Bensimon is proving to be an exciting addition to The Real Housewives of New York City. Bensimon, 40, and a six-foot-tall former model and marathon runner, is facing misdemeanor assault charges after attacking her boyfriend Nick Stefanov.
