Bethenny Frankel "cracked" on Tuesday's Real Housewives of New York City, breaking down as she recounted last week's dramatic reunion with her stepfather.
"We had the talk I've been waiting for years to have," Frankel icily recounted to her therapist, Dr. Xavier Amador. "There wasn't some big 'Come to Jesus' moment."
An increasingly sarcastic and agitated Frankel – who recalled growing up amid abuse, alcohol, drugs and gambling – continued, "What do you think it was like? It was a party. I loved every moment of it. You're just surviving."
But Amador finally broke through to her.
"Do you think a 5-year-old girl who sees her mother get dragged and hit by a phone feels nothing?" he asked. "Don't close the lid on your feelings. What you can do is understand how what happened affected your ability to feel and trust and how that impacts those you love, including your daughter."
Frankel finally broke down, collapsing into tears.

While Ramona Singer continued to celebrate her birthday with girlfriends on Tuesday's Real Housewives of New York City, Bethenny Frankel went in search of family.
"Oh, my God, I don't fit in," Frankel said at Singer's party. "I've been to women's Upper East side parties before. Some women look great, and some have gone over the top. It looks like the Star Wars bar."
Frankel told her therapist she also felt like she didn't fit in if she didn't make an effort to reconnect with her stepfather John Parisella, whom she hadn't seen in years.
"He raised me. It got a little hairy at the end, and we stopped speaking," she said. "But he was the only father I've ever known. I feel like I need to reopen that door."

The Real Housewives of New York City headed to Atlantic City for Ramona Singer's birthday, but the real gamble was whether the wives would kill one another.
They started out fighting (and drinking) in the morning after Sonja Morgan refused to let them into her home in the driving rain, and the fighting (and drinking) never stopped.
"This is my birthday weekend, and I've had enough stress in my life," Singer yelled in the limo ride to Atlantic City.
"On a scale of one to 10, how happy am I that I missed the limo ride?" asked Carole Radziwill. "A 12."

Sonja Morgan asked for Bethenny Frankel's savvy business advice on Tuesday's Real Housewives of New York City, but she may not have been prepared for the Skinnygirl mogul's words.
"I know enough to know that in a couple of months you're not just going to pull a clothing line out of your ass, like a rabbit out of a hat," said Frankel. "What is your brand?"
"It's an international, fashion lifestyle brand … jewelry, perfume … " started Morgan.
"What the f--- are you talking about?" Frankel asked. "Do one thing great."

Bethenny Frankel may be a successful business mogul, but that doesn't mean she's got every aspect of her life together.
"I think I suck at choosing the right people for me," the Real Housewives of New York star says in the May issue of Haute Living New York.
"I don't think that I actually suck when I'm in a relationship, but I think that I haven't gone with my gut enough," she continues. "I've made decisions out of fear, which is the biggest mistake people can make. You have to make decisions out of truth."

When it comes to dating Ramona Singer, guys better bring their A-game.
"If on the first date, if he doesn't help me with my coat, then I don't want to be with him," Singer tells PEOPLE.
"I like a man who is attentive from the very beginning. If he's not, then you don't want him."

The Real Housewives of New York City headed to the Hamptons Tuesday night, where the wives wined, whined and dined.
"It's a lot having people go through your stuff," said LuAnn de Lesseps, who held an estate sale at the Hamptons home she was selling. "I had a lot of great times and a lot of sad times."
Both of which Ramona Singer evoked before apologizing to the Countess for being so crass to her in the past about her difficult divorce.
"I owe you the biggest apology, I really do," said an emotional Singer, who accused the Countess last year of being in an open relationship and having a cheating husband. "Now I know what you went through … I'm so upset about what I said. It was callous."
But the Countess didn't forgive so easily.
