Whatever happens to his character, Cody Christian is a permanent member of the Teen Wolf pack.
Christian, 20, plays newcomer Theo in season 5, and the MTV show's cast is almost as obsessed with him as the Pretty Little Liars fandom.
"He's a phenomenal actor, he's really passionate about his work," Tyler Posey told PEOPLE at the ATX Television Festival in Austin, Texas, over the weekend. "He really loves being on set and is always asking questions about shots and setups, what size lens they're using. He fits in so well on set."

Fans have been speculating about seeing a familiar face this season on Teen Wolf, and in a sit-down with PEOPLE, the cast and executive producer Russell Mulcahy teased that there might be an "appearance."
Could it be Allison (Crystal Reed) in a flashback? Jackson (Colton Haynes) visiting from London? Derek (Tyler Hoechlin) stopping by Beacon Hills?
"As far as actors coming back, there's always so many different forms in which they can come back, but that's all I'll say," Holland Roden, who plays Lydia, told PEOPLE at the ATX Television Festival in Austin, Texas, on Sunday.

Maybe it's just a coincidence that many of the most popular shows on Twitter this year feature the kinds of twists and surprise deaths that have viewers Tweeting in mass outrage.
For 2014, The Walking Dead was the most-Tweeted TV show (#RIPBeth), followed by the reality show hate-watch The Bachelor and the ever-popular Pretty Little Liars, according to the Nielson Twitter TV Ratings.

Killing off a main character in a television show is a risky move: You're upending the show's world (and putting a coworker out of a job) in the hope that the shake-up will lead to something greater down the line. And guess what? Despite the ministrations of fans, who claim that they will never watch their favorite show without [insert character name here], it often works!

SPOILER ALERT: The text below reveals major plot points to the Monday, March 17, episode of MTV's Teen Wolf
MTV is launching a special website for angst-ridden fans of its Teen Wolf series to collectively mourn the sudden death of one of the show's main characters in Monday night's episode.
Immediately after the third season's penultimate episode ended at 11 p.m. ET, MTV had the site TeenWolfMemorial.com ready to offer solace for people upset that the character Allison Argent wound up on the wrong end of a sword wielded by a mythical Japanese demon.
Argent, played by actress Crystal Reed, is the ex-girlfriend of Scott McCall, the drama's lead character.
Argent's death shouldn't entirely be a surprise; MTV has been advertising that one of the show's main characters would be killed off. The network kept that character's identity a secret, although the announcement that someone was doomed launched plenty of online speculation.
