The star has left the building!
At least that's how NeNe Leakes feels about her grand exit from Bravo's hit Real Housewives of Atlanta.

As she's arguably the biggest star of Bravo's Real Housewives franchise, NeNe Leakes' departure from Real Housewives of Atlanta in advance of its eighth season has been a bitter pill to swallow for her fans.
But how did her cast mates, who she told PEOPLE "will be happy" now that they have an "opportunity to shine" with her gone, react?
Kenya Moore was the first of the RHOA ladies to respond on social media to Leakes' departure. When asked by a fan if she was glad to hear the news, Moore answered with three nail-painting emojis. (As any emoji scholar knows, the nail-painting emoji is the shadiest of the emojis, second only to the tea emoji.)
Though she's moving on to bigger things, this moment is bittersweet for Leakes, too. The 48-year-old reality star took to Instagram on Monday night to thank her fans directly for their support over the years and to express how difficult the choice was for her to make.

You're going to need a glass of wine for this one. After nearly eight drama-filled years on Bravo's hit Real Housewives of Atlanta, fast-talking fan favorite NeNe Leakes is calling it quits, she tells PEOPLE exclusively.
Leakes, 48 – arguably the network's biggest star, who's been with the show since its inception – will not be returning for season 8. She says there comes a time when enough is enough.
"This was definitely a hard decision for me," Leakes tells PEOPLE. "Me and my husband [Gregg Leakes] have been going back and forth on it for weeks now. But my contract is up and I just think this is the right time. This is my opportunity to spread my wings and do different things."

Sonja Morgan told Bethenny Frankel on the latest episode of Real Housewives of New York City that she has to "go out and party sometimes" to get through her financial struggles, but it's who she's been partying with that's most interesting of all.
Morgan dropped a bombshell on the Watch What Happens Live aftershow Tuesday, claiming she spent a night out on the town with Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Adrienne Maloof's ex-husband, Dr. Paul Nassif.

Brandi Glanville has cemented a reputation on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for creating drama, but she says there are no hard feelings when it comes to her exit from the series.
Glanville, 42, broke her silence Wednesday on her podcast, Brandi Glanville: Unfiltered.
"After a lot of careful thought and deliberation, I have decided not to return to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," she said. "They've been awesome, and Bravo will always be my family. Like Andy [Cohen] said, it's the Mafia. You never really get to leave us. And they've been so great to me, and if I'm available and they need me, they know where to find me."

Real Housewives of New York City star LuAnn de Lesseps – a.k.a. the Countess – is debuting her "much funkier" dance jam "Girl Code (Don't Be So Uncool)" on Watch What Happens Live on Tuesday at 11 p.m. ET.
De Lesseps says it's about a betrayal during the ladies' disastrous trip to Turks and Caicos – and her upcoming admonishment that her gal pals "be cool. Don't be all, like, uncool."

Life seems like a beach for The Real Housewives of New York City, but when the ladies arrive in Turks and Caicos for some rest and relaxation, the trip isn't exactly smooth sailing.
The island adventure unravels in four weekly episodes from June 23 to July 14, with the June 30 installment marking the series's 100th episode.

After seasons at the center of the drama on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Brandi Glanville's exit isn't exactly surprising.
The former model and mom of two won't return as a regular cast member, PEOPLE confirmed Thursday. The news comes after Glanville fought with costars Kyle Richards, Lisa Vanderpump, Eileen Davidson and Lisa Rinna throughout season 5.
"Brandi got too big for her britches. She was a diva, and it came around to bite her," a source tells PEOPLE. "By the end, she couldn't get along with anyone, and no one wanted to shoot with her."
