Britney Spears's fiancé Jason Trawick had a sweet, encouraging message for the newly-minted X Factor judge after she filmed her first set of auditions in Austin, Texas.
"Princess, we just completed our first weekend in Austin on X Factor," he says to Spears in a new video message, which he filmed in bed. "Just wanted to say I'm very proud of you and I love you so much. Congratulations."
Trawick signs off the video with a sweet kiss, and says, "Now get back in here so we can go to sleep."

Auditions for the new season of The X Factor are underway – and now you can take a peek at brand new judges Britney Spears and Demi Lovato in their newest roles.
The ladies joined L.A. Reid and Simon Cowell at the judges' table for two rounds of auditions on Thursday in Austin, Texas.
So, how were the contestants?
"Texas has a lot of talent - seriously! Loving @TheXFactorUSA auditions so far," Spears Tweeted Thursday.

And so our upfront crusade moves on to its second network citadel, Fox, situated in the formidable stronghold of American Idol.
Formidable, but showing signs of viewer erosion as it wraps up its eleventh season. This wasn't really addressed at Monday afternoon's presentation in Manhattan: The reality competition that really needed the shoring up was Simon Cowell's The X Factor, which in its first season wasn't quite the world-flattening behemoth everyone was predicting.
But the Fox upfront gave the show a tremendous promotional boost for season 2, as both Britney Spears and Demi Lovato were officially brought out as new judges, joining jolly old Mr. Cowell and L.A. Reid. Excitement compounds excitement!

Hot on the heels of confirmation to PEOPLE that Britney Spears has signed to become a judge on the new season of The X Factor comes an announcement that joining Spears will be former Disney star Demi Lovato.
Confirmation of their new roles was made Monday at the FOX upfronts in New York City.
"I'm so excited about this whole experience," Spears, 30, said. "It's going to be so much fun and so different from anything I've ever done. I'm ready to find a true star."
"I am totally stoked to be here," Lovato, 19, added. "I'm excited to represent my generation and I'm ready to
find the winner."

Following months of speculation surrounding the possibility that the pop star might be a judge The X Factor, the singer has signed a deal for to be a judge on the show, a source confirms to PEOPLE.
"There's been a lot of back and forth over the past few weeks as they negotiated the small details, but she's on," a source tells E! Online. "It's all completed and Britney is beyond excited."

Now, sources say, it looks like the pairing may be more than just a remote possibility.
"There have been talks" with Spears and her team, a source close to the situation tells PEOPLE. "Anything is possible." Reveals a second source: "I've heard they are in negotiations."

But at least one oft-mentioned name can be taken off the list: Avril Lavigne.
"I'm making a record. I want to make movies," she told PEOPLE on Tuesday. "No, it's not happening."
At an L.A. event launching her Abbey Dawn fashion line on JustFabulous, Lavigne, 27, who performed on the program, says of the speculation, "It's flattering. It's a great show."

Less than a week after Janet Jackson sparked speculation that she may be joining The X Factor as a judge, Britney Spears is now the subject of casting buzz.
"Are we flattered that there could be interest? Yes," Simon Cowell told reporters on a conference call Wednesday, but wouldn't discuss what he thinks Spears would bring to the show as a judge. "I've learned a big lesson: keep your mouth shut. Don't give it all away."

Rachel Crow Lands TV, Record Deals

Rachel Crow's stint on The X Factor may have ended with a dramatic elimination rather than victory, but the teen certainly has something to celebrate.
Crow, 14, has landed deals to star in her own Nickelodeon series and record an album with Columbia Records, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The Nickelodeon show will be a musical comedy series, and Crow will also have a recurring role on a handful of episodes of the network's comedy series Fred: The Show, according to reports.
