The Daily Treat: How Your Cat Stole Christmas

Originally posted 12/24/2013 06:45AM

Maybe it was a bad idea to gift wrap your cat this year.

Either way, some felines are clearly more likely to leave you something in the litter box than underneath the Christmas tree. This minute-long tribute (via The Huffington Post) to non-festive felines is dedicated to every cat who's ever snuck a bite of Santa's cookies, knocked over the Christmas tree and scratched up all of the presents (all of 'em!).

You're a mean one, Mr. Kitty. (Watch the destruction unfold above.) But we know the Grinch would be proud.

The Adventures of Busy Philipps & Her Elf on the Shelf

Originally posted 12/23/2013 10:30AM

Ah, the holidays. It's the perfect time of the year to whip up some hot cocoa, buy yourself something fancy and gift wrap your cat.

It's also the only time it's not weird to keep a little toy elf in various places and positions around your home.

If you haven't dusted off your Elf on the Shelf – delighting children since the book came out in 2005 – take a peek inside Busy Philipps's home. The holiday tradition calls for festive partakers to hide a toy elf around the house, where it will spy on you and tell santa if you've been naughty or nice. You believe in magic, right?

5. All We Want for Christmas Is …

Do you think Mariah Carey is on the "nice" or the "naughty" list this year?

After a snowy family outing in Aspen with 2½-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan, the singer took to Instagram on Sunday to show her fans just what's under her winter coat.

"Warming up for the hot tub moments!" she captioned her showy snapshot, in which she matches her red robe to her undergarments (and fluffy heels!). The singer also shared a photo of herself walking her dog in the snow, wearing a bikini (you know, as you do).

Kendra Wilkinson and Her Family Get a Visit From Santa

Apparently Kendra Wilkinson's son, Hank IV, was a good boy this year.

The pregnant reality star's 4-year-old got a visit from the big man himself, Santa Claus, just in time to pose for the family's holiday card along with his mom and dad, Hank Baskett.

Posing in front of an ornate, gift-adorned Christmas tree, Baskett was clad in red suit and tie pajamas, while Wilkinson, 28, concealed her baby bump in comfy-looking animal-print PJs. Their son wore (what else?) a Spider-Man costume.

When Sofia Vergara sings, something amazing happens – people laugh.

The Colombian bombshell may be a 10 as far as looks go, but when it comes to carrying a tune, well, let's just say she gets points for trying.

The 41-year-old performed a unique rendition of "Jingle Bells" in an Instagram video captured by her Modern Family costar Jesse Tyler Ferguson.

"I feel this this will be a new holiday tradition. @sofiavergara caroling for us," he wrote.

Watch: What's Michelle Obama Getting Barack for Christmas?

Originally posted 12/20/2013 01:00PM

The rules of being in a famous family are slightly different than being in a normal family. For example, on Christmas you or I might try to keep what we're giving our loved ones a secret, so as to preserve the moment of surprise so crucial to the holiday.

However, Michelle Obama, as a famous person, is not bound by those conventions.

As well as getting Prince George ready for his first Christmas, the Duchess of Cambridge is planning her festive wardrobe. And what a wardrobe it will be – around a dozen outfit changes over three days.

So, what does one wear when dining with Queen Elizabeth?

The festivities begin on Christmas Eve, when the royals exchange presents and enjoy their traditional turkey lunch. We can imagine Kate in something elegant and refined with a hint of glamour – typical of one of her favorite designers, Emilia Wickstead.
