The cutest, fluffiest, most precious mascot of the holiday is somebody – make that somebunny – else this year.
The ears most definitely fit Bo Obama. Literally.
"Happy Easter," President Barack Obama wrote on Twitter Sunday, sharing a snapshot of the first dog accessorized for the occasion.

Britney Spears, her two sons and mother, Lynne, attended Easter services in Amite, La., on Sunday.
Wearing a long patterned dress, Britney was photographed exiting the church. Jayden James, 6, donned his Sunday best too – a white button-down shirt with black slacks, while doting grandmother Lynne held his hand.

On her show Chef Wanted, Anne Burrell helps test up-and-coming chefs for top spots at premiere restaurants. But this week she's getting a culinary dream job of her own.
On Monday, the Food Network star will be cooking for attendees at the White House's Easter Egg Roll.
"I am so super excited," Burrell tells PEOPLE. "The White House is such a beautiful place, and I can't wait to visit and see the President and the First Lady and, of course, to do something fun for the kids."
On Burrell's menu: orecchiette with broccoli rabe pesto and sausage (which comes from her cookbook Cook Like a Rock Star) because, as she says, "A pasta dish is a great way to get kids to eat veggies."

Ryan Seacrest Celebrates Easter Weekend in Cabo Post-Split

It's a happy Easter indeed for Ryan Seacrest, who jetted to Mexico for the holiday weekend.
Fresh off his split from Julianne Hough, the American Idol host, 38, was spotted enjoying his vacation in Cabo with his pals – including a few female companions – on Friday. (Flashback: Just last year, the former couple, who dated for more than two years, took a romantic getaway to Cabo.)
Meanwhile, Hough has been spending time with her family and documenting her Easter festivities on Instagram.

Ahead of the 135th annual White House Easter Egg Roll, which will take place Monday on the South Lawn in Washington, D.C., Bo Obama received a special first look at this year's commemorative eggs.
Putting his sleuthing skills to work in the clip above, the 4-year-old pup searches high and low – including inside a tree and around the vegetable garden – for the multi-colored keepsakes, which include a special teal egg that's marked with his paw print and name.

Adopt Me! Sassy the Rabbit Is Cuter than the Easter Bunny

Home. Some pets never have one to call their own. We'd like to help change that by introducing you to an extraordinary adoptable pet every week. Meet Sassy, a 2-year-old ruby-eyed white Lionhead rabbit whose cuteness upstages even the Easter Bunny.
When the Gainesville Rabbit Rescue took Sassy in, her fur was matted and covered in waste. The Florida-based rescue cleaned up this ball of fluff, along with her parents and siblings, so the whole bunny brood would be ready for adoption. (Rescue staff also took the neglected rabbits to a veterinarian and had them all spayed/neutered.)
One by one, each of the rabbits was adopted. Now, "Little Sassy is the last of her family and is eager to find her forever home," Faith Bolton, the rescue's assistant director, tells PEOPLE.

Let the wild rumpus start!
First Dog Bo joined President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama, along with their daughters Malia and Sasha, for the annual White House Easter Egg Roll on Monday. During the Storytime Stage portion of this year's Let's Go, Let's Play, Let's Move!-themed event, the President read aloud the Maurice Sendak classic, Where the Wild Things Are.
While the President seemed to be roaring his terrible teeth and rolling his terrible eyes for the audience, Bo sat quietly at Mrs. Obama's feet.

It's hard to believe there's anything better than an egg-laying bunny, but it turns out such a thing exists. We submit to you, an egg-laying Bo Obama dressed as the Easter Bunny.
Bo got all dressed up and clucking to preview the 134th annual White House Easter Egg Roll, happening on April 9. The theme this year is "Let's Go, Let's Play, Let's Move."
