Oct. 27 marks the 48th anniversary of It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, the third Peanuts special. And people are still sitting in their pumpkin patch, waiting for the Great Pumpkin to deem them the most sincere: In 2013, seven million viewers tuned in to watch Lucy, Linus, Charlie Brown and of course, Snoopy.

Jimmy Kimmel was quite the trickster for Halloween – but the results were anything but sweet for hordes of kids.
For the third year-running, the talk-show host asked parents to prank their children by telling the youngsters that they ate all the Halloween candy.
Better still, he asked folks to shoot it all on video, so that earth-shattering moment is captured for all posterity (and, no doubt, for the future embarrassment of their kids).

It must be Mila Hager, whose first Halloween was out of this world, as she dressed up as one of NASA's finest and went trick-or-treating with her grandparents George W. and Laura Bush.
Proud mom Jenna Bush Hager posted two photos on Twitter of the 6-month-old posing with each of her parents. "Grandpa-jefe discussing astronomy with his space babe," she wrote of Mila and the former President.
