Age may be nothing but a number, but for Heidi Klum, it translates onto one helluva Halloween getup.
The celebrated costume aficionado, known for her outlandish outfits in years past, was back to her old tricks – her very old tricks – when she dressed up as a wrinkled elderly lady for her famed Halloween bash Thursday in New York City.
The supermodel, 40, was virtually unrecognizable as she pulled out all the stops for the eye-popping look.

Universe's cutest astronaut?
It must be Mila Hager, whose first Halloween was out of this world, as she dressed up as one of NASA's finest and went trick-or-treating with her grandparents George W. and Laura Bush.
Proud mom Jenna Bush Hager posted two photos on Twitter of the 6-month-old posing with each of her parents. "Grandpa-jefe discussing astronomy with his space babe," she wrote of Mila and the former President.

Here at PEOPLE Pets, we've been celebrating Halloween for some time now. We've shared the best pet costumes to come from our readers and provided instructions on how to get your own felines in on the action.
But while we've been marveling at one creative New Yorker's interpretation of Barksy, née Banksy, the animal kingdom has been getting in on the Halloween fun without us – until now.

Miley Cyrus's VMA outfit might be this year's hottest Halloween costume. But for the real-life Cyrus, she's been there, done that.
Instead, the twerk-happy star, 20, opted for a throwback costume inspired by another skin-baring star who courted controversy at the MTV Video Music Awards more than a decade earlier: rapper Lil Kim.
On Wednesday night, the "Wrecking Ball" singer Tweeted a photo of herself dressed in the memorably skimpy outfit Kim wore to the 1999 Video Music Awards.
Donning a sultry look, a purple wig and that infamous purple pasty atop her left breast, the singer simply captioned the Tweet "Happy Halllllloweeeen" with four hearts after it.

For Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen, there's no place like home.
And from the looks of this sweet photo, home is in each other's arms, giving one another a sweet smooch.
"Having fun with my Lion last night!" Bündchen, 33, captioned the Halloween-themed photo she posted to her Instagram account Tuesday.

Who let the dogs out – dressed like that?
That would be some of New York City's most creative dog owners with a vision and a simple mission: to have the best doggy Halloween costume. EVER.
The 23rd annual Tompkins Square Halloween Dog Parade included some of the funniest doggy get-ups we've seen to date, including a mysterious Barksy – a nod to British graffiti artist Banksy – and a furry pumpkin squeezed into a Starbucks cup (reminding us to imbibe the Pumpkin Spice Latte before they're taken off the menu for the season).
Here's a list of our favorite pooches, though we think all of the participants proved to be Best in Show.

Julianne Hough has apologized for dressing up in blackface at a Halloween party Friday night.
The 25-year-old triggered controversy after she showed up at the Beverly Hills bash as "Crazy Eyes," a character played by Uzo Aduba in the hit Netflix drama Orange Is the New Black.
Hough covered her face in dark makeup, styled her hair like the character's knotted 'do and wore an orange jumpsuit and prison ID splashed with the words "Crazy Eyes."
