5. Maggie Rizer's New Addition Is Already Working It for the Camera – Obviously

Well, well – we wonder where he gets it from. Maggie Rizer's new addition, baby Quinnlann Clancy Mehran, wasted no time getting comfortable (and cute, natch) for the camera in an Instagram photo his model mama shared after his Friday birth. "We are so proud to introduce our son," the model told PEOPLE. "We feel incredibly blessed to have been given another little angel. Our cup runneth over." (Say awww)

Kate Gives Shamrocks to an Irish Wolfhound

Forty lucky officers of the 1st Battalion Irish Guards received shamrocks from the Duchess of Cambridge on St. Patrick's Day, but only one dog could say he was as lucky.

Not one to leave a dog behind, Kate pinned a sprig of green clover onto the collar of the battalion's regimental mascot, an Irish wolfhound named Conmael. The wolfhound, like the other 450 soldiers present at the annual parade, wore ceremonial scarlet, but unlike the rest, received a few affectionate pats on the cheek from the Duchess.

Kate Hands Out Shamrocks to the Irish Guards

With a gold shamrock-shaped brooch adorning her dark green coat, The Duchess of Cambridge undertook her first solo military engagement when she made a traditional royal visit to the Irish Guards on St. Patrick's Day.

She handed out sprigs of shamrock to members of the 1st Battalion Irish Guards (and their mascot Irish wolfhound Conmeal) in Aldershot, Hampshire, on Saturday.

The visit to the regiment used to be carried out by her husband William's great-grandmother, the Queen Mother, who died ten years ago. That job was then passed on to Princess Anne, and is now likely to be Kate's role.

The 450 soldiers paraded in full ceremonial uniform of scarlet tunics and bearskins before she gave out the shamrock, which is the floral symbol of Ireland.

Cooking Channel's Classy Ladies Serve Up a Green St. Patrick's Day Cocktail

Finding a four-leaf clover on St. Patrick's Day may not be a guarantee, but concocting the perfectly festive cocktail for the green-themed occasion should be a cinch.

Cooking Channel personalities – and BFFs – Alie Ward and Georgia Hardstark popped into the PEOPLE offices on Wednesday where they whipped up a signature St. Paddy's Day treat – their Luck of the Irish whiskey cocktail.

Their eclectic selection of drink recipes can be found on their own Cooking Channel site, and they can be seen in action on their web series Classy Ladies, which debuts on March 26.

Food Network's Chopped Champ Cooks an Unexpected St. Patrick's Day Meal

Baileys Irish Cream and beef – it's the perfect combination for a St. Patrick's Day meal – and not in the way you'd necessarily expect.

Chef James Briscione, a two-time champion of Food Network's hit show Chopped, has prepped a special dish along with wife Brooke Parkhurst featuring both of the ingredients working harmoniously together. Why the combination?

"The traditional meal would be corned beef and cabbage," Brooke tells PEOPLE. "But of course we wanted to do our own fun, boozy spin on it."

Just like on Chopped, in which contestants are tasked with pairing unlikely ingredients, Briscione and Parkhurst found that the two disparate elements, the sweet and the meat, worked well together.

"He's really great at combining ingredients in delicious and unexpected ways," says Parkhurst, who collaborated on the cookbook Just Married & Cooking with her husband. "They always seem crazy, but somehow they work!"
