Marissa Jaret Winokur, the host of the new weight-loss dance show Dance Your Ass Off, is on a weight-loss journey of her own.

The Tony-winning actress, 36, recently admitted that though she didn't give birth to her 11-month-old son Zev (who was carried via a surrogate), she has put on pounds since his arrival. "You don't actually have to carry the baby to gain the weight," Winokur tells PEOPLE.

Now on a mission to get back in the shape she was in while appearing on
Dancing with the Stars, Winokur (whose Oxygen show premieres June 29) has returned to exercising and has a goal: to appear in a bikini in the pages of PEOPLE.

Who better to help Michael Jackson "hulk" up for tour than the original Hulk himself?

Lou Ferrigno's wife Carla has confirmed to PEOPLE that the star of the 1970's TV hit The Incredible Hulk has been working as Michael Jackson's physical trainer in preparation for Jackson’s return to live performing in July. "Lou and Michael have known each other for a long time," says Carla. "Lou first trained Michael 15-years ago."

Jackson's exact workout regimen remains secret, but Ferrigno, a two-time Mr. Universe, has added muscle to other celebrity clients such as Mickey Rourke and Chuck Norris.

When the time came for mom-of-two Alison Sweeney to shed the weight she gained while pregnant with daughter Megan Hope, 5 months, she drew from her experience as host of NBC's The Biggest Loser.

"I've learned a lot about nutrition and how to count my calories" as a result of the show, she told PEOPLE at the second birthday party for pal Nancy O'Dell's daughter, Ashby, over the weekend.

Of course, juggling a diet and exercise routine with two small children and a busy career is tough, but Sweeney says she found a great ally in the EA Sports Active package for the Nintendo Wii.

Ali Landry: I Stopped Exercising for Two Years

Originally posted 06/13/2009 11:45AM

Unlike many celeb moms in Hollywood, Ali Landry didn't jump right back into exercising just weeks after having a baby. Not at all.

In fact, the former Doritos girl took almost two years off from working out following the July 2007 birth of daughter Estela with her husband, film director Alejandro Gomez Monteverde.

Instead of hitting the gym, Landry, 34, relied on a home-delivery meal service to drop her pregnancy pounds. "I lost the majority of the [post-baby] weight pretty fast doing that," Landry told PEOPLE at Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS A Time for Heroes Celebrity Carnival in L.A. recently. "But I have to say, it was that skinny fat when you don't work out, and you're not toned."

Sherri Shepherd, who's trying to slim down enough to pose in a bathing suit on The View on Aug. 6, isn't exactly enjoying every minute of working with a personal trainer.

"He is the Evil One!" The View cohost, 42, told PEOPLE about trainer Don Scott at the Apollo Theater's 75th anniversary celebration Monday in New York City. "He's making me eat salad with extra virgin olive oil. That's the closest to being a virgin I'm ever going to get."

Talk about TMI on Twitter!

Sherri Shepherd, who's trying to slim down enough to pose in a bathing suit on The View on Aug. 6, learned an important lesson this past weekend: Don't tweet about your junk food indulgences.

"This weekend, I was out in L.A., and I'm tweeting about [how] I had fried calamari and I had some buffalo wings and I just went totally off my diet. And it was great!" The View cohost said on the talk show Monday. "I did not know that my nutritional coach and my trainer follow me."

Shepherd, 42, tweeted on Sunday that she "messed up a little last night ... had fried calamari and fried catfish – gotta stay away from the soul food! Back on track today – gym at 3 pm."

Last October, Cheryl Burke defended her curves when bloggers slammed her for gaining weight. But new photos of the Dancing with the Stars beauty in St. Lucia should silence any critics.

Fresh from a Caribbean vacation with her boyfriend, model Maxwell Zagorski, Burke, 25, tells PEOPLE that shedding the pounds and maintaining "the ideal weight for me" has been relatively simple.

"I gained a few pounds and everybody was talking about it last year," the two-time Dancing champ says. "But taking it off was simply a matter of doing a bit more cardio to supplement my dancing. I'm also making sure I eat clean foods and healthy snacks."

It may be hard to believe, but even Cameron Diaz has body issues.

The actress, 36, who admits to having her nose fixed after breaking it four times ("S--- just finds my face," she explains), says she probably wouldn't have more plastic surgery, but does think about how she'd change her shape.

"I'd love a bigger butt, more meat on my bones," she tells the July issue of Marie Claire, on newsstands June 9. "I'd love to be more voluptuous. It's just not my body type."

Natasha Henstridge: Diets and Pills Damaged My Body

Originally posted 06/01/2009 04:15PM

Playing a genetically-altered alien/human hybrid in the movie trilogy Species, Natasha Henstridge blew viewers away with her out-of-this-world body. But what it took for the model-turned-actress to maintain that killer physique was close to "extreme."

"I've done some things that probably weren't the smartest things in the world," reveals Henstridge, now 34, of taking "pills" and over the counter supplements to give her an "extra boost" to be thinner. "I've even been to Chinese herbalists who've given me herbs and acupuncture," she says, thinking that they were "innocent and healthy."

Now, the mom of two realizes that the diets and drugs were damaging. "All of a sudden when you decide to go clean, things are changing in your body because you done a bit of damage," she says. Sporting a curvier figure last month, Henstridge is happier – and healthier – than ever. "My body has definitely gone through a change since coming off all the crazy yo-yo stuff," she admits of putting on weight.
