A day after admitting in court that she had used cocaine and marijuana in the past, Nigella Lawson said Thursday that she was embarrassed but wanted to come clean about the drug use.
"I would rather be honest, if ashamed, and explain the drug usage, but I wanted to make sure that I wasn't going to be bullied [with] lies," the celebrity chef, 53, said at the fraud trial of two former assistants, according to the Telegraph.
"I am not proud of the fact that I have taken drugs, but that does not make me a drug addict or a habitual drug user," she added.

Following a very rough couple of weeks, Camille Grammer says she's doing well – even without the support of her allegedly abusive boyfriend.
"I'm feeling great," the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star tells Dr. Mehmet Oz on The Dr. Oz Show Thursday, just four weeks after undergoing a radical hysterectomy for early stage endometrial cancer.
"Once in a while I'll get a little pain here and there, but I'm walking around," she adds. "I was able to go trick-or-treating with my kids and my life is moving forward and I'm feeling very well."

Two days after a scary pool accident sent Usher's oldest son, Usher V, to the hospital, the 5-year-old is doing "okay," according to his mother, Tameka Foster. But the drama may not be over yet.
Foster has requested an emergency child-custody hearing to regain primary custody of the couple's two children, Usher V and Naviyd, 4, reports TMZ.
"Now that it's sunk in, she is livid," says a source close to Foster. "Usher has custody and won't let Tameka have the kids, even when he's out of town. She feels like the kids are being raised by his family or by nannies, when they should be with their mother."

Johnny Depp is finally opening up about his split from his partner of 14 years, Vanessa Paradis, calling the last few years of their relationship "a bit bumpy."
"At times, [it was] certainly unpleasant, but that's the nature of breakups, I guess, especially when there are kiddies involved,” Depp, 50, tells Rolling Stone in its July 4 issue.
But the actor, who has two kids with Paradis – Lily-Rose, 14, and Jack, 11 – says he hasn't stopped caring about Paradis.
"It doesn't stop the fact that you care for that person, and they're the mother of your kids," he says of their split. "You'll always know each other, and you're always gonna be in each other's lives because of those kids. You might as well make the best of it."

And he's off.
The emotional toll of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart's latest breakup became a logistical one Sunday, as the actor was photographed apparently leaving his longtime love's Los Angeles home with a pickup truck full of his belongings.
His two dogs rode shotgun, as an expressionless Pattinson, 27, in a red cap, sunglasses and increasingly scruffy beard, drove away from Stewart's Los Feliz house.
