Alessandra Ambrósio isn't exactly known for keeping her fabulous figure covered up.
Her ears, however, are a whole different story.
In hopes of fulfilling her modeling dreams, Ambrósio underwent surgery at the age of 11 in an attempt to pin them back.
"I always knew I wanted to be a model so I decided to have my ears pinned back because they stuck out a bit," Ambrósio, 32, says in Net-a-Porter magazine's December issue.

Heidi Klum may have dressed up as a 95-year-old woman for Halloween – complete with wrinkles and age spots – but the supermodel insists that she's not scared of getting old.
She finds the idea of plastic surgery far more frightening.
"I've never done anything," Klum, 40, said during an interview on Access Hollywood Live on Thursday. "I've been too scared, to be honest with you."
The Project Runway host says she hasn't had fillers or injections and has come up with a simple solution for those pesky lines on her forehead.

Sharon Osbourne has been very open about her multiple plastic surgery procedures.
When asked on The Graham Norton Show on Friday about the work she's had done, she admitted she's had "a lot."
But when British TV host Norton asked her which one hurt the most, he got an answer he wasn't expecting.
"Having my vagina tightened," the 61-year-old admitted. "It was just excruciating."

Medical records and X-rays of Marilyn Monroe set to be sold at auction next month appear to show that screen icon had facial plastic surgery during her 1950s Hollywood career.
The memorabilia, to go on the block Nov. 9-10 by Julien's Auctions in Beverly Hills, is expected to fetch anywhere from $15,000 to $30,000 and comes from her plastic surgeon, Dr. Michael Gurdin, reports New York's Daily News.

"I'm all about renovating everything right now, whether it's my body or my home," she said on the show. "And I decided, what can I do to build my self-esteem?"
So, she revealed, she got a nip and a tuck from costar Alexis Bellino's plastic surgeon.
"I did some cartilage reconstruction on my nose," she said. "I had some fat injected in the upper part of my cheeks so I don't have any more wrinkles. And I did a little chin implant."

British plastic surgeons say requests for the Duchess of Cambridge's "near perfect" and petite nose have tripled since 2011, according to the Daily Mail, which has interviewed several women who said having a similar eye-catching royal profile was exactly the look they sought as they underwent rhinoplasty.
"Her nose is straight with a cute, rounded tip and is perfectly in proportion to her face," plastic surgeon Maurizio Persico said. "This gives Kate an attractive and striking profile."
