Prince George is ready to see the world – and for the world to see him!
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge plan to take their son on an official visit to Australia and New Zealand in April, when he will be nearly nine months old.
While it is "anticipated" that George will join his mother and father for what is likely to be more than three weeks away from the U.K., a decision will be made closer to the time, a royal source confirms.

It's the jolliest season, and the royals are no exception.
Prince Charles, 65, and wife Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, 66, have unveiled their 2013 holiday card, and the smiley couple is quite the cutest.
Fancily photographed at last June's Royal Ascot races, the couple is seen viewing horses in the parade ring, with Charles stealing a glance at his happy wife.
The inside of the card reads, "Wishing you a very Happy Christmas and New Year."

Don't start shopping for engagement presents just yet – Pippa Middleton isn't set to wed boyfriend Nico Jackson, PEOPLE has learned.
Speculation was mounting that Kate's little sister and her beau had gotten engaged, but a source tells PEOPLE "it is not true."
The rumors heated up after Middleton, 30, took a trip to India earlier this month with her stockbroker boyfriend, 36, and reports claimed he'd popped the question.

A landmark for Prince George on Wednesday – his first Christmas party with the royal family.
He was taken by his parents the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to Buckingham Palace for lunch with most of the extended Windsor clan.
Joining the young family was nanny Jessie Webb, who sat in the back of the Range Rover as William drove through the palace gates.
On hand to coo over the baby were plenty of other youngsters, too.

While he'll likely be the center of attention as the Royal Family gathers next week to celebrate his first Christmas at the Queen's country retreat, Sandringham, Prince George will actually find himself quietly ensconced in the nursery when the real holiday action takes place.
For weeks now, upwards of 100 staff members have been preparing a days-long sumptuous house party for George's parents the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and the extended family.
Darren McGrady, who worked for the Windsors for 15 years – the last four of which, until 1997, in the employ of Princess Diana and her young sons – says nothing much will have changed from his days behind the carving station and in the kitchens.

Prince Harry and the teams of wounded ex-servicemen and women have made it to the South Pole after a four-week, 200-mile journey.
They arrived on Friday, with Harry praising his fellow trekkers, who included a double-amputee and a blind U.S. Army captain.
"It will prove to everybody that there's so much that can be made possible when you think that nothing is left," he said on the Walking With The Wounded charity blog.
"I think we'll be having a few whiskies tonight and the everyone's looking forward to getting home."

Prince George as a reindeer! Prince Harry as Santa Claus! The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge spoiling their firstborn with tiny sneakers, cute stuffed Corgis and other Christmas presents!
George's first Christmas with the royal family at Sandringham should be quite the occasion this month. And hopefully it's half as festive as these photos, taken by spoof photographer Alison Jackson and featuring familiar lookalikes of the royal family.

Prince Harry showed that the freezing cold temperatures at the South Pole haven't got the better of him as he joked with a group of soldiers on a phone call a few days ago.
The 29-year-old, who's on a 300 km (186-mile) trek across Antarctica in support of the Walking with the Wounded charity, called the four members of the Row2Recovery team ahead of their 3000-mile race across the Atlantic. (See the video below.)
All bundled up against the freezing temperatures and sitting on a camp bed inside a tent, the prince joked with the soldiers, who were standing in the sunshine in the Canary Islands. "It's minus 30 [Celsius] here, apparently it's plus 30 where you are," he said.

The party season is in full swing for Prince William and Kate as they stepped out for a movie premiere Thursday in London.
The couple, both 31, were the guests of honor at the U.K. premiere of Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom.
Kate, in a favorite white Roland Mouret gown that she previously wore to a private dinner in May 2012, and William, in his traditional tuxedo, lit up the chilly West End evening.

Prince George may have sporty parents, but his father sees only one game in his 4-month-old son's immediate future.
"I think the only sport he will be good at is playing tiddlywinks," Prince William joked to Ryan Gordon on Wednesday.
Gordon, 18, was among a group of budding sports coaches with whom William visited at Coach Core, a training and apprentice coach development program established by the prince, wife Kate and brother Prince Harry for 16- to 23-year-olds living in London's most disadvantaged communities.
