The Amazing Race's reigning winners, Kelsey Gerckens and Joey Buttitta, are in full wedding-planning mode – and their ring-bearer is set to steal the spotlight on the big day.
The couple, who met on the job as TV reporters in Santa Barbara and got engaged last December after winning $1 million on the 27th season of the CBS series, are now "on wedding duty," Gerckens told PEOPLE on Thursday.
"We're trying to find a venue as we speak," she said alongside her fiancé at the PEOPLE VIP reception for the Hearts of Reality event in Orlando benefiting Give Kids the World. "We're just excited to celebrate with all our family, friends and to reconnect with the Amazing Race cast. We initially thought it would be small but now I think big. Probably around 200 people. We don't have a date yet – we're just enjoying being engaged."

"[We] closed the door," Booth told PEOPLE at the Bravest & Finest Workout at New York Sports Club in honor of First Responders Appreciation Month. "It's too much anxiety on Monday nights. After going through that and seeing what happens, what goes on, it's tough to watch."
He adds, "We kind of stay away from it."

His Bachelorette journey culminated with true love and a brand new fiancé in JoJo Fletcher, but for Jordan Rodgers, the hardest part of reality TV came after the cameras stopped rolling.
"It was awful," Rodgers tells PEOPLE exclusively of the rumors that plagued him throughout the season. Issues with his integrity, family history and even ex-girlfriends abounded, as viewers continually questioned his intentions.
"It hurts because judgment and integrity are things that you build and try to maintain over a lifetime, and it just takes one person [saying something] out of malice that makes news."

Despite Jordan's estrangement from his brother being a major source of interest on this season of The Bachelorette, Jordan told reporters during a conference call on Tuesday that his NFL star older brother will "absolutely" be invited to the wedding.
"There's no scenario in which I wouldn't want my entire family at a wedding, so absolutely, that's something all of our family wants and hopes for at some point," said Jordan, 27.
