With Dancing with the Stars contestants in the final stretch of season 17, Monday night saw another couple sent home.
Just before a newly crowned champion will be named on Tuesday, Jack Osbourne, Bill Engvall, Amber Riley and Corbin Bleu battled it out for a shot at winning the coveted mirror ball trophy.
At the end of Monday's episode, Engvall and partner Emma Slater ended up with the lowest score – and were sent packing.

Karina Smirnoff is a former Dancing with the Stars champion, winning the coveted mirror-ball trophy in season 13 with J.R. Martinez. The longtime competitor has been blogging for PEOPLE about competing with former High School Musical star Corbin Bleu in season 17.
I'm just enjoying this whole process. At this point, you can't control what's going to happen from anyone's side. The only thing we know is that we're having a blast and we're trying to figure out how to fit in all these dances. The workload this season is ridiculous. We've had to pretty much learn more than one dance per day.
We get nervous about the quality. How do you manage to work, polish and give great quality with such little time? So it's like you don't eat, you don't sleep, you don't use the bathroom. They say sleep is overrated. I respectfully disagree.

Is Maks ready to waltz back into the ballroom?
Maksim Chmerkovskiy, one of the most popular pros in the history of Dancing with the Stars, will make a surprise return to the show on Monday, though not as a dancer, ABC confirmed Thursday.
Chmerkovskiy, 33, will be a guest judge, sitting alongside Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli for the semifinal performances. (Watch competitor Bill Engvall's reaction in video below).

No one was more stunned than Cher when she recently found out Dancing with the Stars will pay tribute to her decades-long music career on the Nov. 4 show.
"It's always strange when people do something like this. You're not thinking about those kinds of things," she tells PEOPLE. "It just always takes me by surprise. It just does."
Cher will sing her hit "Believe" and her new song "Closer To The Truth" on the show, as well as serve as a guest judge, but won't be dancing because of a foot injury she sustained years ago. "I am waiting to have an operation," she says. "The doctor got a little crankier and said I have to do it."
Even if she could dance today, you won't find Cher dancing on DWTS as a contestant. "Aren't I old enough now not to be a contestant anymore?" the singer, 67, says. "Haven't I got past the contestant part?"

Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi is a mom, author, entrepreneur and star of MTV's Jersey Shore and Snooki & JWoww. She's blogging for PEOPLE.com as she competes on season 17 of Dancing with the Stars with new pro Sasha Farber.
Get ready for another crazy Monday night of Dancing with the Stars!! I've been practicing all week here in L.A., and this is my favorite dance I've learned so far!
Even though it is breaking my heart that I'm away from my son and family, my body feels so much better training in one spot instead of flying back and forth everywhere.

Get ready to rumba!
With season 16 of Dancing With the Stars just weeks away, 11 new cast members – including former Olympic champs Dorothy Hamill and Aly Raisman, as well as Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Vanderpump – were announced on Good Morning America Tuesday. There may also be a country music rivalry in the ballroom: two singers, Wynonna Judd and Kellie Pickler, will dance this season. Check out the full list of competitors below.
The pro pairings were also announced on the live telecast – and there are a few familiar faces missing from the list. Outspoken pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy will not be on this season; neither will Anna Trebunskaya, Chelsie Hightower or Louis Van Amstel. However, viewers will get to see new pros Gleb Savchenko, Lindsay Arnold and former dance troupe member Sharna Burgess in action when the season premieres March 18 on ABC.
Here's a full list of the season 16 pairs announced Tuesday:

As a judge on Dancing with the Stars, Carrie Ann Inaba normally tells contestants how to break it down on the dance floor.
But as she learned that pro dancers Anna Trebunskaya and Jonathan Roberts decided to end their nine-year marriage, the recently single Inaba offered her own words of wisdom on what she described as a "part of life": the breakup.
"Listen, I've been through my own breakups, and they happen," she told PEOPLE at Saturday's Carousel of Hope benefit in Beverly Hills. "I think that people that have the courage to break up and pursue their dream and their real happiness – you have to honor that."

If Pamela Anderson could do Monday night's cha-cha-cha all over again with partner Tristan MacManus on Dancing with the Stars: All Stars, she says she wouldn't change a thing.
Scoring an evening low of 17 points, Anderson, 45, told reporters backstage after the show, "Humans aren't perfect, and I think it was very brave of us to go that strong with our emotional connection about the dance."
"I think there was a lot of good stuff about it," she continued. "I take it seriously. I write down the song and think about my own personal experiences."

This season of Dancing with the Stars – deemed the most competitive yet – has come to an end.
After seemingly endless weeks of grueling rehearsals and memorable performances three couples – Katherine Jenkins and Mark Ballas; Donald Driver and Peta Murgatroyd; and William Levy and Cheryl Burke – were left vying for the coveted mirror-ball trophy during two nights of competition.
The couples had 24 hours to put together a final routine for the judges. Those scores, combined with the ones from the night before as well as America's votes (which count for half of the combined score), would determine the winners of Dancing with the Stars. Read on to find out who was crowned the king and queen of the ballroom this season ...
