Louisiana's newest restaurant is just off the highway – literally. Months after 40,000 pounds of ham spilled off a Georgia onramp, a semi crash scattered thousands of corn dogs across an interstate.

According to local news station KTBS, a tractor trailer hauling a load full of packaged corn dogs overturned on I-220 outside of Shreveport, La., Tuesday morning, spilling 75,000 sticks of the fried snack across the highway. There were no injuries, but the mounds of spilled dogs caused nine hours of delays while police cleaned up the delicious debris.

Cereal: It's what's for breakfast (and lunch and, sometimes, dinner).

Which is why we're happy that Friday is National Cereal Day, celebrating Americans turning their backs on the pork, beef and alcohol they used to enjoy in their morning meals in favor of oats, grains and corn syrup.

To celebrate the occasion, why not pour out a big bowl of your favorite cereal – Grape-Nuts with blueberry syrup, we're talking to you – and load up Netflix with these films, which we've reimagined to be cereal-themed.

"It was a very casual party of 10," an onlooker tells PEOPLE. "The ladies were very laid back and relaxed."

A svelte Simpson looked comfortable in jeans and boots, and the source found her "super happy and relaxed."

Meet the Bionic Chef Who Cooks with an Electronic Hand

How Eduardo Garcia Became a Bionic Chef

Originally posted 11/30/2013 04:00PM

It was a motionless baby bear that caught Eduardo Garcia's attention during a hike in the Montana backcountry in 2011. Curious, Garcia nudged the animal with his knife and realized too late that the bear was covering a live power line that carried 2,400 volts.

"There is no way to describe the warm symphony of noise that fills your body when being electrocuted," he says. "The next thing I remember was looking down at my left hand and seeing a charred mess."

The classically trained chef – luckily a right-handed one – then spent 48 days recovering in a burn trauma unit, wondering what was next for his career.
