Emily Maynard calls Mother's Day a "really special day," but that doesn't mean she's the one getting totally spoiled.
The single mom, 27, who was previously engaged Jef Holm, hopes her daughter doesn't win her usual battle over where to dine on Maynard's special day.
"It's hopefully a day that we'll get to go to my favorite restaurant instead of Ricki's, like usual," the former Bachelorette told PEOPLE on Thursday with a laugh. "I'm just hoping for Mother's Day, we get to go somewhere that has real silverware, real napkins, and I'll be happy."

Even pregnant with her second child – and with a wedding in the works – Halle Berry has admitted that she has no plans to slow down or take time off from work, which is probably why Sunday's holiday will be particularly gratifying.
"What I love about Mother's Day is Mom doesn't have to plan it," Berry tells reporters before hosting the 20th Annual EIF Revlon Run/Walk For Women.
That means fiancé Olivier Martinez and daughter Nahla Ariela, 5, are in planning mode. And the actress couldn't be any happier about the role reversal.

Journalist Ling, 39, is the host of the OWN program Our America with Lisa Ling. She and her husband of nearly six years, biotech firm president Paul Song, 47, celebrated the birth of their first child, daughter Jett, in March. Ling has chronicled her journey to motherhood with PEOPLE, and now shares her thoughts on the eve of Mother's Day.
Although this is my very first Mother's Day as a mother, it's only been eight weeks, so I still have a lot to learn. Fortunately though, I have an extraordinary person to whom I can look up – my mother Mary.
There are times when the words thank you are simply unable to express the degree of appreciation one has for someone else; that is how grateful I am to my mother.

Jenny McCarthy enjoyed some female bonding on Wednesday afternoon.
Joined by pal Heather Porter, the pair had teatime at the Peninsula Beverly Hills hotel, where they also nibbled on scones and strawberries and cream.
Meeting up to discuss the philanthropic partnership between Porter's book Body Back and McCarthy's charity Generation Rescue, Mother's Day was one topic that the ladies couldn't avoid during their get-together.
"Jenny was saying she wanted to do something special with her son [Evan] for Mother's Day," an onlooker tells PEOPLE. "She was talking about how Disneyland would be a fun place to go for the occasion."

A greeting card and some fancy flowers are nice, but maybe it's the year to get your favorite leading lady what she really wants for Mother's Day: the secret to youth.
Or, at the very least, a refreshing beverage.
In the spirit of the holiday, here's a cocktail for the fun forever-young mom from Russian Standard Vodka. (Plus, Mom isn't the only one who could enjoy this swill – it's a favorite brand of Peter Facinelli, Zachary Quinto and Shenae Grimes.)
Besides, nothing makes wrinkles less noticeable than a strong drink.
