Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj are singing their swan songs to American Idol.

On Thursday, Carey reTweeted a post by her reps that announced, "W/ global success of "#Beautiful" (#1 in 30+ countries so far) @MariahCarey confirms world tour & says goodbye 2 Idol."

Minutes later, Minaj Tweeted: "Thank you American Idol for a life changing experience! Wouldn't trade it for the world! Time to focus on the Music!!! Mmmuuuaahhh!!!"

The raw emotion in the wake of the deadly Oklahoma tornadoes was palpable Wednesday at a benefit concert in Oklahoma City, as Miranda Lambert broke down in tears and struggled to finish her song, "The House That Built Me." (Watch her performance below.)

The singer, 29, halted several times and wiped away tears as she performed the poignant Grammy-winning track, dedicated the night of the event to the animals affected by the tornadoes.

Lambert was introduced by her husband, Blake Shelton, who called her "an amazing woman, a compassionate human being, a great talent – and oh, by the way, an amazing wife."

Little remains unknown about the Beatles – they're one of the world's greatest rock and roll bands and have likely been photographed more times than Bieber and Britney combined.

But now Ringo Starr is unveiling more than 100 never-before-seen images of the Fab Four that he took during their '60s prime.

In a new e-book, Photograph, the Beatles drummer reveals intimate pictures of the group, including black-and-white and color photos of Starr, now 72, Paul McCartney, John Lennon and George Harrison during their first U.S. tour, their fabled trip to India to meet the Maharishi, and their last days together as a band.

It's a battle of the beats!

They're both just 23 years old, but they're two of the biggest names in electronic music – and Avicii and Zedd gave PEOPLE.com a sneak peek at what they'll be spinning during their turntable takeover in Las Vegas over Memorial Day weekend.

Kicking off one of the biggest party weekends of the year, Zedd (born Anton Zaslavski) will keep the music flowing on Friday, from 10:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. at Mandalay Bay's brand new nightclub, Light.

"It is an honor to be the one to play for the opening of this club which will hopefully change a whole city," the Clarity producer tells PEOPLE. "We've been working on the concept for my show for so long now and tweaking our visuals and lots of performance aspects. I obviously can't say too much about it yet, but it will be a very unique thing in Vegas and in the whole world."

As if the sound of Hanson's mega-hit "MMMBop" wasn't intoxicating enough, the adorable band of brothers has produced something that could really get you buzzing: a new beer called – what else? – MmmHops.

The awesomely-titled IPA – created with the help of a craft brewery in their home state of Oklahoma, according to BeerPulse.com – was introduced by the brothers at The Hangover Part III afterparty in L.A. Monday night.

Taylor Hanson and Hangover star Ed Helms enjoyed a brew together at the bash – and the middle Hanson brother shared a photo of the moment on Instagram.

Using clips from the animated series, the Dr. Doof character sings to Perry the Platypus in a cleverly silly mash-up music video set to the pop star's hit, "I Knew You Were Trouble."

The video premieres Friday at 8 p.m. ET on the "Gravity Falls" episode.

Ray Manzarek, Doors Founding Member, Dies

Doors keyboardist Ray Manzarek died Monday in Rosenheim, Germany after a long battle with bile duct cancer, his rep confirms to PEOPLE. He was 74.

Manzarek is best known as a founding member of the classic rock band The Doors, along with John Densmore, Robby Krieger and the group's charismatic (and controversial) frontman Jim Morrison.

"I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of my friend and bandmate Ray Manzarek today," Krieger said in a statement. "I'm just glad to have been able to have played Doors songs with him for the last decade. Ray was a huge part of my life and I will always miss him."
