On Sunday, country star Rodney Atkins, 44, married singer-songwriter Rose Falcon on the beach of Captiva Island, Fla.
The couple exchanged vows in front of 20 guests. Atkins's son Elijah was the best man. The wedding was officiated by Charles Hutchins, the founder of the children's home where Atkins spent his infancy before being adopted by Allen and Margaret Atkins.
The ceremony was the end of a family weekend on Captiva, an island in southwest Florida. The day before the wedding, the couple's friends and family went fishing in the Gulf of Mexico.

In space, no one can hear you scream, but soon they'll be able to hear Lady Gaga sing.
The "Applause" singer is set to perform the first ever concert in space as part of Zero G Colony, a three-day music festival, in early 2015.
The 27-year-old confirmed her appearance on Wednesday, Tweeting the hashtag "GagaInSpace2015," while a source tells PEOPLE that the event, which is taking place at Spaceport America, the world's first commercial spaceport, in New Mexico, will feature a mix of entertainment and cutting-edge technology, with Gaga providing the big finale.

What better way to kick off the holiday season than with a brand new video from Mary J. Blige?
The singer released her very first holiday album, A Mary Christmas, last month and PEOPLE has the exclusive premiere of the video for her new single, "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas."
Blige enlisted mega producer David Foster to work on the album and to produce her soulful rendition of the Judy Garland classic.

This was a dream come true for Sweeran shippers, who love the idea of Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran being a couple.
Wearing an "I Heart Ed" shirt, Swift, 23, took the stage at the Brit singer's Madison Square Garden concert in N.Y.C. on Friday to sing their hit "Everything Has Changed."
Sheeran, 22, who's winding up a two-and-a-half-year tour promoting his debut album, was the opening act on Swift's Red tour of the U.S.

It was a rough Halloween for Kanye West.
On the same day that he sued a YouTube co-founder over a leaked video of his marriage proposal to Kim Kardashian, the musician's Yeezus Tour suffered a heavy blow after a truck carrying crucial equipment crashed and damaged the gear beyond repair.
On Friday, West's record label said the tour would be postponed until the gear can be fixed, meaning at least three concerts will have to be rescheduled.

In her first public appearance since becoming Mrs. Brandon Blackstock two weeks ago, Kelly Clarkson radiated cheer and joy.
Then again, she was taping a Christmas TV special.
The former American Idol winner took the stage at the Las Vegas Venetian Wednesday night, belting out songs from her Wrapped in Red album, along with a few of her greatest hits.
At one point Clarkson spoke about how attractive an audience member was. When some shouted out that she was a newly married woman, the singer replied good-naturally, "I will hit on someone and make him jealous … I'm just kidding, I love my man."

When the moment came to break up the Jonas Brothers on Oct. 3, Nick Jonas tells PEOPLE that he went "into a bit of trance."
"You prep a million ways," says Nick, 21. But once he admitted to his brothers how he felt, that he wasn't sure the band could continue as it was, "there was sort of a shut-off that happened. It took some time, about 24 hours or so, before we could really talk about it."

Country music legend Loretta Lynn is postponing two shows in Iowa because of exhaustion.
A statement from Lynn's representative on the singer's website says the 81-year-old singer started feeling poorly midway through her three-week tour and is taking some time off to be treated.
"Loretta is a pro and wants to give her fans the best show possible," the rep said. "She felt she was physically unable to do that."
