Joe Jonas Declines Girl's Invite to College Formal, Makes Counteroffer
Originally posted 04/11/2013 11:00AM
Joe Jonas has his own special way of replying to elaborate, obsessive videos from fans – by sending back elaborate, obsessive videos of his own.
The Jonas brother, 23, did just that in response to a Pepperdine University senior named Shaina, who – adding to something of a trend lately – made a three-minute video inviting him to her college formal this Saturday.
In his tongue-in-cheek faux-creepy reply, Jonas – lying on the floor of a darkened room in a NASCAR-style racing suit, sipping red wide and listening to sexy jazz – politely declines the invitation.
But then he makes an intriguing counteroffer.

Hey there, Delilah – there's a new girl in town.
Over the summer, Plain White T's guitarist Tim Lopez took a step back from the stage to search for his soulmate on Ready for Love. The reality show, premiering Tuesday at 9 p.m. on NBC, has matchmakers pairing prospective partners with one of three bachelors.
While the identity of the woman he chose is under wraps, Lopez admits he did pen a song about his love, featured on the band's new EP, Should've Gone to Bed.
"These four songs are just taken from our personal lives – one of which is inspired by a girl I met on the show," Lopez, 32, tells PEOPLE.

LL Cool J Wanted to 'Shake Things Up' with 'Accidental Racist'

LL Cool J is glad you're talking about his controversial duet, "Accidental Racist," with Brad Paisley.
That means he's doing his job.
"Music is about ... connecting different people, and building bridges and breaking the rules," the rapper tells CNN. "If it's not compelling, and it's not complex and it's not interesting, then what are we doing it for? So I think that's the right move."
"I needed to do something that was going to be interesting like that, and shake things up, and jump out of the box," he said. "I'm really proud of it, and I hope the world hears it and enjoys it."

Brad Paisley Defends Controversial 'Accidental Racist' Duet with LL Cool J
Originally posted 04/09/2013 08:15AM
If the song was intended to get people talking, it's been a staggering success.
But Brad Paisley's "Accidental Racist," a duet with LL Cool J on his new album Wheelhouse, out Tuesday, is also hugely controversial.
Styled as a conversation between a white Southerner and a black New Yorker, the song features the two singers having a charged debate about race – and features Paisley's character walking into a coffee shop wearing a shirt with a Confederate flag on it.

"You know, your life flashes before you," Bryan, who also served as the Las Vegas event's co-host, with Blake Shelton, tells PEOPLE.
"Everything – the years to get there, the loading up amps in trucks, and even the move to Nashville and then driving back to Georgia and playing little bars and then the record deal and watching your fan base grow and watching people start to love what you do."

Despite vehement denials from his friends as to the severity of Lil Wayne's condition after the Grammy winner suffered a seizure two weeks ago, the rapper confirms his condition was very serious.
"I'm an epileptic, so I'm prone to seizures," Wayne, 30, told Los Angeles radio station Power 106 on Thursday. "This isn't my first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh seizure. I've had a bunch of seizures. Y'all just never hear about it."
Wayne neither confirmed nor denied reports that he was in a medically induced coma, but did describe the experience as near-fatal.
