Sam Rubin has started a conversation about the "F" word – fat – by acknowledging the double standard that exists regarding weight and gender.
The entertainment journalist penned an open letter for Medium titled "Do I Look Fat in This Airbrushed Picture?" after a traffic reporter on KTLA 5 Morning News made a comment about Rubin’s weight on-air.

Yes, George R. R. Martin, we know that every man must die. But that doesn't make the deaths on Game of Thrones any less painful to watch. Fortunately, HBO just made sure that many of the fan favorites could stay around for a lot longer.
The principal stars of the hit HBO drama – who include Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister), Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister), Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister) and Kit Harington (Jon Snow) – signed new contracts to keep them around for a potential seventh and final season (and give them massive raises), according to The Hollywood Reporter.

When Big Brother winner Dick Donato decided to go public with his HIV-positive status earlier this month, he wasn't sure what to expect.
After all, Donato was best known as "Evel Dick," a reality-TV villain. "We'll see what people have to say about it," he told PEOPLE at the time. "Everyone will have an opinion."
As it turns out, the public has embraced Donato, who is currently appearing on Couples Therapy.
"The reaction has been overwhelmingly positive," he tells PEOPLE. "Absolutely fantastic."
