From Backstreet to one of the most famous streets!

More than 15 years after the release of their self-titled debut album, Backstreet Boys A.J. McLean, Brian Littrell, Howie Dorough, Kevin Richardson and Nick Carter were awarded with their own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame Monday.

Clad in dapper suits – a far cry from the leather and oh-so-sparkly bandanas of their youth – the group grinned as they posed with the brand-new (and 2,485th) star.

It's pretty customary for most men to take a back seat when it comes to wedding planning. But Backstreet Boys' A.J. McLean has admitted to being a very involved "groomzilla."

"I'm hands-on," he told PEOPLE in April about planning his goth-themed evening ceremony, which took place under a clear tent on the Crystal Lawn on Saturday at the Beverly Hills Hotel.

McLean, 33, and bride Rochelle DeAnna Karidis exchanged vows under a gazebo adorned with white hydrangeas, while guests were surrounded by warm elements like romantic chandeliers.

The Backstreet Boys and New Kids on the Block ended 2010 on a high note with a rollicking New Year's Eve mashup of their greatest hits in Times Square. But the guys still see room for improvement in 2011.

"I want to act more like an adult," New Kid Joey McIntyre, 38, who will welcome his third child in May, told PEOPLE about his New Year's resolutions.

"Being in a rock 'n' roll and pop world, it's very easy to act like a kid. So, my resolution is to really act like an adult. It's a personal inventory that I'm trying to take."

"He got up on stage and the DJ turned the music off. He asked her to come up on stage and he got down on his knee and she squatted down with him," an eyewitness tells PEOPLE. "He asked her and she said yes and hugged him. He took the ring out of his pocket and put it on her hand."
