For the 26-year-old Victoria's Secret model and fiancée of PEOPLE's Sexiest Man Alive Adam Levine, she's all about speed when planning her meals.
"I go for quick and easy foods, but that doesn't mean fast food," says Prinsloo of her typical eating routine.
"I live in New York City and there are many organic options that are grab and go."

This family man's life is about to change.
"It's been a lot of sacrifice to be away from [my family] and to go through this whole process not only for me but for them," Josh Kaufman told PEOPLE shortly after winning the sixth season of The Voice Tuesday night. "It definitely makes it all worthwhile."
The father of three – who was a member of local band The New Etiquette and worked as an SAT tutor in Indianapolis before coming on the show – is excited to help create a life for his loved ones "doing what I love."
"It's kind of a win-win," he added.

From Coldplay to Ed Sheeran, The Voice had plenty of star power on the season 6 finale Tuesday night. But ultimately, all eyes were on the three finalists, as they battled it out for the top prize.
Josh Kaufman of Team Usher, Christina Grimmie of Team Adam Levine, and Jake Worthington of Team Blake Shelton gave it their all throughout the season, starting at the blind auditions, where they belted it out on stage to win the hearts of their coaches.
But in the end, only one could be crowned the winner.

With just a few hours left until a new Voice winner is crowned, the coaches and the top three, who performed Monday night, took a breather to reflect on what they appreciate most about one other.
"His eyes," Jake Worthington told PEOPLE about his coach, Blake Shelton. "Does that not turn you on?" he joked about his mentor's crinkly gaze.
In all seriousness, the country kid from Texas, who Shelton, 37, foresees is "going to breathe life back into country radio," has looked up to the "Mine Would Be You" crooner since before the show even existed.
"I never would've thought I'd be friends with him," said Worthington. "He's really just inspired me to want to stay true to myself."

It came down to the wire on The Voice Monday as the top three artists – Christina Grimmie, Jake Worthington and Josh Kaufman – delivered knockout performances.
Kaufman closed out the show with applause that went on so long and so loud that the coaches could barely comment. Singing Adele's "Set Fire to the Rain," the Indianapolis father of three made a case for himself as a masterful soul singer.
"Oh, my," his coach, Usher, enthused, barely audible over the cheers. "Throughout this whole process you have wanted to represent soul and that is precisely who and what you are."

With just one week to go until the finale, the Top Five artists on The Voice learned their fate Tuesday in a semifinal elimination that had the male contestants celebrating and the female singers forced to perform one more time for the last Twitter instant save of the season.
Early in the show, the first save of the night offered a genuine surprise: Host Carson Daly revealed Texas teen Jake Worthington would move on to next week's finals.
The decision had coach Blake Shelton beaming – and probably helped him forget about the pile of manure Adam Levine poured on his precious truck the previous evening.

A popular Disney hit re-imagined as a rock song was not a problem for Kat Perkins, who turned the catchy tune embraced by fans worldwide, "Let It Go," into a head-banging anthem on Monday night's The Voice semi-final.
"You murdered it," said an enthusiastic Usher of Perkins's powerful take on the song from Frozen, which she dedicated to the Keller children for whom she served as nanny, and who watched adoringly from the audience.
"I don't know what I can say anymore. It doesn't get better as far as vocals are concerned," noted her coach Adam Levine.
