Add a Golden Globe to Adele's collection!
The singer, 24, took home an award for her James Bond title song, "Skyfall" – and delivered what may be the best speech of the evening.
"Oh my God, oh my God, oh my God," Adele began as she took the stage. "Honestly I came for a night out – with my friend Ayda – we're new mums. I was not expecting this. Thank you so much," she said.

She's landed – and she wants a Golden Globe!
Adele touched down in Los Angeles on Thursday, carrying her most precious cargo: her baby boy who was born in October.
The singer, 24, is in town for Sunday's awards show, where she's up for a Globe for her James Bond title song "Skyfall."
It will be her first official appearance since she and boyfriend Simon Konecki welcomed their son, who is apparently a "cutie," but whose name is still unknown.

Might Adele wrestle a foul-mouthed bear for an Academy Award? Or will a criminal on the run sweep in to steal the statuette?
At this year's Academy Awards, it's anyone's guess.
The Oscar nominees were announced Jan. 10, and the five nominated tracks for Best Original Song range from jazzy tunes like the Norah Jones-sung "Everybody Needs a Best Friend" (Ted) to pop hits like Adele's "Skyfall" (Skyfall). The nominated bunch also includes moody, new age tracks like "Pi's Lullaby" (Life of Pi); bluesy ballads like the Scarlett Johansson-sung "Before My Time" (Chasing Ice); and Hugh Jackman's heart-wrenching, Broadway-ready ballad from Les Misérables, "Suddenly."
Listen to the nominated songs below – and then check out which songs (cough, mostly Disney songs in the '90s, cough) took home the Oscar for Best Original Songs in the past.

On The X Factor Wednesday, the remaining six contestants fought hard – singing first an acoustic version of a hit song and then a song picked by fans – for one of four spots in next week's semi-finals.
Thursday, the results, based on America's votes, will be revealed. And after last week, when the popular Vino Alan was sent home, anything can happen.
CeCe Frey, who seems to be hanging on by a thread, did well with a stripped down version of Lady Gaga's "Edge of Glory," earning praise from the usually critical L.A. Reid: "I'm starting to become a fan," he said. Her colorful version of Katy Perry's "Part of Me" was "very entertaining" to Britney Spears, who appreciated that she's having fun on stage.
Boy banders Emblem3 took on "Just the Way You Are" by Bruno Mars, which Britney called "your best performance in the competition." But Demi Lovato remained hard to please. "I used to really, really love you guys," she said before calling them a "down-graded version of the Jonas Brothers." Even with their second song, "Forever Young," which was almost universally praised, Demi wished they had commanded the stage more.

But a close pal, comedian Alan Carr, is reporting from the frontlines of Adele's new life as a mom.
"All I'll say is I have seen Adele's baby and he's such a cutie. She's doing great, she's glowing," he tells The Sun.
