Camille Grammer has been through the kind of hellish time that Adrienne Maloof is experiencing these days. But it's nothing a little time and a new man can't fix, Grammer says.
"She is staying strong. It's a very difficult time for her. A public divorce on a reality show – it was impossible for me, so I empathize with her," Grammer, 44, told PEOPLE Monday at TV Guide's annual Hot List Party in West Hollywood.
Maloof, 51, and Dr. Paul Nassif just reached a divorce settlement. And Grammer says she has been in touch with her Real Housewives of Beverly Hills costar to talk girlfriend to girlfriend.
"She'll get by. It just takes a while," says Grammer.
What's the secret to getting through it? New love – and lots of sex, she says.

There's apparently light at the end of the tunnel for Adrienne Maloof and Dr. Paul Nassif.
What started out as one of the nastier Hollywood divorces has ended fairly peacefully.
"We're happy to announce we have reached agreement on a settlement that we are both very pleased with," the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars both tell PEOPLE in a statement.
"Divorce is a painful process under any circumstance and certainly more painful under the constant glare of the media spotlight. There has been so much untrue negative innuendo and destructive rumors beyond our control the past few months."

Adrienne Maloof may be facing off against her husband Paul Nassif in divorce court off-camera, but the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star has another adversary on-screen for the show's upcoming third season: her former neighbor and BFF Lisa Vanderpump.
Recall, of course, that the ladies began bickering toward the end of last season. (Maloof's chef, Bernie, especially took issue with Vanderpump, her husband and their dog, Giggy.) But the tension boiled over during the reunion specials when Maloof accused Vanderpump of selling stories about her in the tabloids.
Apparently the ladies haven't made up – and now PEOPLE has an exclusive first look at some of their drama in advance of the Bravo show's premiere (Nov. 5, 9 p.m. ET). Oh, and drama magnet Taylor Armstrong is involved, too!

Adrienne Maloof put on a brave face Sunday night when she joined her fellow Real Housewives of Beverly Hills costars on the red carpet at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel for their show's season 3 premiere.
Her nasty divorce from Dr. Paul Nassif has kept the TV personality, 51, press shy recently, but at the event she opened up to PEOPLE about the emotional journey she finds herself taking.
"It's very difficult," she said. "I'm not made of stone. I'm a real person. It's always difficult when your life is played out in the public."

Most of Kyle Richards's Real Housewives of Beverly Hills costars don't have a good track record when it comes to keeping their marriages intact while on the show – but Richards is certain her relationship with hubby Mauricio Umansky will not crumble in front of cameras.
"I am like a lion with my family, my cubs," Richards, 43, told PEOPLE at Thursday's grand opening of her Kyle by Alene Too boutique in Beverly Hills.
"I'm very, very, very protective. If I ever felt like something was being affected in any way by the show, I would just walk away in a millisecond," she says.
Adrienne Maloof is the latest cast member who Richards has watched go through a split. The reality star's husband, Dr. Paul Nassif, filed to end their marriage on Aug. 28.

Paul Nassif can see his kids again.
A judge on Wednesday granted Nassif – who is in the middle of a bitter divorce from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Adrienne Maloof – the opportunity to see his three sons, and overturned a temporary restraining order against him.
Maloof, 51, has claimed that Nassif, 50, displayed violence towards their children and is a danger to them. The couple are parents to 9-year-old son Gavin and 6-year-old twins Christian and Collin.

The increasingly bitter divorce drama enveloping Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars Adrienne Maloof and Paul Nassif is "becoming a bit of a circus," according to one half of the couple.
On Friday, Nassif took to his Facebook page to vent his thoughts about the custody battle surrounding the couple's three sons, claiming they are being used as "pawns."
"The phrase 'All is fair in love and war' must have been penned by a divorce attorney," he writes. "I'm very disappointed in the ridiculous tactics that are being used that potentially compromise my relationship with my children. I hate to see others using them as pawns."

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills are back, and Adrienne Maloof's divorce drama is poised to take center stage.
Of course, no Housewife worth her salt would allow one woman to take all the glory.
Real estate agent Marisa Zanuck (who's married to movie producer Dean Zanuck) and former model Yolanda H. Foster join Maloof, Brandi Glanville, Kim Richards, Kyle Richards, Lisa Vanderpump and Taylor Armstrong for season 3, which premieres Nov. 5 (9 p.m. ET) on Bravo.
Meanwhile, Camille Grammer may not be an official Housewife per se, though she will appear on the show.

A judge on Wednesday awarded The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Adrienne Maloof temporary custody of her three sons, after she alleged that her estranged husband, Paul Nassif, choked one of them last week.
A rep for Nassif confirmed the court decision to PEOPLE, adding that his legal team was blindsided by the allegations, which Nassif denies.
Maloof, 51, claims that Nassif, 50, with whom she is locked in a bitter divorce and custody battle, turned around and choked one of the boys for being rowdy on a drive last Thursday, TMZ.com reported.

Paul Nassif and Adrienne Maloof were often seen bickering on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
But details emerging after the plastic surgeon filed for divorce paint a much darker picture than anything ever caught on camera for Bravo's hit show.
Their custody battle has devolved into a shouting match with accusations about guns, insults and physical abuse – with their three young children possibly subjected to horrible behavior by one or both parents.
