Paul Nassif and Adrienne Maloof were often seen bickering on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
But details emerging after the plastic surgeon filed for divorce paint a much darker picture than anything ever caught on camera for Bravo's hit show.
Their custody battle has devolved into a shouting match with accusations about guns, insults and physical abuse – with their three young children possibly subjected to horrible behavior by one or both parents.

Adrienne Maloof's hopes of saving her marriage have taken a drastic turn for the worse.
Husband Paul Nassif, a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon who had sought legal separation from the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star last month, now wants a divorce.
Citing irreconcilable differences, Nassif, 50, has requested joint legal and physical custody of their kids, Gavin, 9, and twins Christian and Collin, 6, according to documents filed Tuesday in L.A. Superior Court.

It may not be the end of the road after all for Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars Adrienne Maloof and husband Dr. Paul Nassif.
Just days after the Beverly Hills plastic surgeon filed for legal separation from his wife of more than 10 years, Maloof, 50, made her first public appearance since the split, promoting her co-designed OMG! Brandz cell phone cases at Kitson boutique Wednesday in L.A., at an event co-hosted by Sweet E's Bakeshop.
"We're at that point where it's that bump in the road, [but] we're trying to work things out," the reality star, looking trim in a hip-hugging dress, tells PEOPLE. "I always like to keep a positive attitude and hope that we can resolve our differences."

Adrienne Maloof's split from her husband of 10 years may have come down to that classic clash between work and personal life.
After the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star's husband, Paul Nassif, filed for legal separation Monday, citing irreconcilable differences, a source close to the situation tells PEOPLE, "The show was the killer. It was the straw that broke the camel's back."
Maloof and Nassif, who has appeared on E!'s Dr. 90210, became very competitive, adds the source. He "was into the fame of it. He was the one who encouraged her to do Real Housewives."

As one of the stars of Bravo's Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Adrienne Maloof is no stranger to drama. But it was a different kind of excitement for the production when a fire broke out across the street from her mansion.
"I looked and saw smoke and I thought it was the barbecue. But all of a sudden the smoke got heavier," Maloof tells PEOPLE after Friday's fire.
"I ran to the front and looked out of my front and Lisa's [old] house was on fire. I went back and started screaming 'Oh my gosh, we've got to get out of here!'"

Brandi Glanville was in the hot seat on part two of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion special, which aired Monday on Bravo.
While she and her costars addressed their volatile relationships – and everything from game night-gone-wrong to her ex husband Eddie Cibrian to Kim Richards's stint in rehab – Brandi was refreshingly candid. No matter how you feel about Brandi, she definitely does not hold back, saying things the other women wouldn't dare say, whether because it's crude – or because it's the truth.
Here some of her best moments from Monday's show:

There will be triple the drama when Bravo's Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion special kicks off on Jan. 30 (9 p.m.) – the first in a three-part series that reunites the ladies for heated discussion with Andy Cohen.
And – surprise – Kim Richards will be joining the fray after all.
Though she didn't participate in the initial filming because she was seeking treatment for alcohol abuse, Richards sat down for a separate chat with Cohen, her first since leaving rehab, which will air as the third installment on Feb. 13 (9 p.m. ET). In the chat, she tells Cohen why she checked into rehab. "I'm an alcoholic," she says. "I'm an alcoholic."
