When you hear Dave Coulier's name, you'll typically think of one of two things: either you remember him as Joey Gladstone, the Hawaiian-shirt wearing, Mr. Woodchuck carrying, majestically mulleted uncle on Full House or you'll remember hearing that he inspired Alanis Morissette's seething breakup song "You Oughta Know."
In a recent interview, Coulier says that yes, he and Morissette dated, but there's no way he had anything to do with those now 19-year-old lyrics.

No doggone excuse is good enough for Alanis Morissette and her husband, Mario "Souleye" Treadway, who is suing a former house manager for the theft of the couple's dog.
In a lawsuit filed March 5, Treadway alleges that Maria Garcia and another family consultant, Patrick Murch, have refused to give back the couple's Chihuahua/pug mix after Garcia was relieved of her duties on Jan. 21. Treadway wants the pup, a one-time street dog, returned and is seeking $25,000 in damages and court costs.

We can look back at it 15 years later as a festival of hilarious fashion, but the 41st Annual Grammy Awards, held on February 24, 1999, was a glimpse into the future of the music industry.
The 1999 Grammys were billed at the time as the "Diva Grammys,", celebrating the industry's female icons past and present.
The decade's twin titans, Whitney Huston and Mariah Carey, sat the night out, but the belting style they helped popularize was everywhere.

One of the biggest albums of the '90s alt-rock scene, Alanis Morissette's Jagged Little Pill, is coming to the Broadway stage.
In the latest sign that Gen X culture has gone totally mainstream, Morissette announced on Friday that she would be turning her landmark 1995 LP into a Broadway musical, debuting in workshops some time in 2014. The concept is similar to other "jukebox musicals" based on hit tunes by diverse acts such as The Beatles, Billy Joel and Green Day among others. The difference? Morissette's anthemic tunes were mainly about being an angry grrrl with a lot of bad boyfriend baggage.
"I look forward to taking the heart of Jagged Little Pill and expanding its story, fleshing it out into ever deeper layers of emotionality, specificity, humanity, power, physicality, spirit and fabulism," Morissette said in a statement.
