Alec Baldwin testified Tuesday that he never had a sexual or romantic relationship with a Canadian actress accused of stalking him, saying that after they met she began leaving dozens of voicemails for him at night and eventually started threatening to show up at his homes.
The 30 Rock star said at the Manhattan trial of the woman, Genevieve Sabourin, that he had a meal with her at a friend's request, gave her an email address and phone number and later communicated with her about acting classes.
She began to barrage him with as many as 30 voicemails per night and hundreds of emails that started out as lovelorn and pleading, Baldwin said.

Princess Eugenie seems to be loving her new life in New York City.
The princess, who is seventh in line for the British throne and the only royal living stateside, hit up the Dolce & Gabbana 19th Annual Artwalk NY Benefit Coalition for the Homeless on Tuesday.
"She looked totally relaxed mingling in the New York charity and art scene,” said an onlooker.
The princess, who is the daughter of Prince Andrew and Fergie (the Duke and Duchess of York), chatted with a handful of girlfriends and appeared to be without security according to the onlooker. She wore New York’s signature black and looked chic with her short shaggy auburn hair.

Alec Baldwin is done with Twitter – and maybe even acting.
Deleting his Twitter account after lashing out at a British journalist who claimed Baldwin's wife, Hilaria, was Tweeting during James Gandolfini's funeral – Baldwin later apologized for the remarks – the Blue Jasmine actor defended his decision to forgo the social media service to Vanity Fair on Monday.
"I went to Jimmy Gandolfini's funeral, and when I was there I realized Jimmy Gandolfini didn't have Twitter. Jimmy Gandolfini was so beloved as a person, and he was so admired as an actor, and he didn't give a f–– about social media," Baldwin, 55, explained.
