From an adult film star to a technological genius, the icons portrayed in Jobs and Lovelace could not be more different – but their biopics have something in common: They both hit theaters this summer, one week apart.
Lovelace, which stars Amanda Seyfried, portrays the life of porn great, Linda "Lovelace" Boreman, who broke free from her abusive manager-boyfriend and helped prevent other women from getting similarly exploited in that world. It opens this weekend.

When it came to filming the more risqué scenes for the biopic Lovelace, Amanda Seyfried had no problem with the nudity involved.
"It's funny, because I felt liberated when I was doing it," the actress, 27, told reporters at the movie's Los Angeles press day. "I'm sure people that are very protective of me wouldn't feel very comfortable with that, but it's like, what's the big deal?"
Seyfried, who plays legendary porn star Linda Lovelace in the film – it opens Aug. 9 – doesn't see anything wrong with showing a little skin onscreen.

Now that's what we call puppy love!
While arriving to the New York set of the Late Show with David Letterman on Tuesday, Amanda Seyfried only had eyes – and nose! – for her dog Finn.
"I really can't go many places without him," she told Ellen Degeneres in May, and proved just that when her Australian shepherd later joined her on-camera.

"They're pumped ... They're excited – my parents, particularly, which is sort of perverse, but great. They're proud of their little porn star."
Adam Brody, telling PEOPLE how his friends and family feel about his role as the late Harry Reems, star of 1972 pornographic cult classic Deep Throat, at the premiere of the biopic Lovelace, at New York City's Museum of Modern Art on Tuesday night. The movie also stars Peter Sarsgaard, Sharon Stone, Chris Noth, James Franco as Hugh Hefner and Amanda Seyfried as Linda Lovelace.

Playing porn star Linda Lovelace seems to have set Amanda Seyfried free from her inhibitions – at least when talking about sex.
"Everybody I've dated I've been sexually attracted to immediately," the star of the new biopic Lovelace tells ELLE for its August issue, on newsstands July 23.
"Sparks don't grow – your vagina doesn't become more inclined to wanting someone just because you're around them."

Amanda Seyfried has never been shy about her love of Australian shepherd Finn – just check out her Twitter! – and it seems people are noticing.
"Let's talk about your dog. Now I love animals, everyone knows that I love animals. Your relationship with your dog is borderline," Ellen DeGeneres tells the Epic actress during a Thursday appearance on her talk show.
"Oh yeah, I know," responds Seyfried, 27. "He's with me right now. He's actually backstage. I really can't go many places without him."

Well, now, this is awkward.
We're not sure if we're the right ones to say it, but, um, Finn Seyfried, it seems like you got a little something on your nose.
Or perhaps the Australian shepherd, who calls Les Misérables star Amanda Seyfried Mom, likes it that way?
