Hollywood's New Moms Hit the Red Carpet
Originally posted 02/27/2011 11:35PM
Hollywood babysitters must've been in hot demand Sunday as new moms Céline Dion, Amy Adams and Penélope Cruz stepped out at the Academy Awards.
Dion, who welcomed twin sons Eddy and Nelson four months ago, joined husband René Angélil as she hit the red carpet in a curve-hugging Giorgio Armani Privé gown. Later, she pulled a quick-change, donning another stunning look while singing "Smile" during the show's in memoriam segment.
Meanwhile, Best Supporting Actress nominee Adams, who's said losing the pregnancy pounds was never a priority, looked gorgeous in her sparkling L'Wren Scott dress. However the first-time mom, who was joined by fiancé Darren Le Gallo, wasn't totally immune to baby talk on the red carpet. While chatting with E!'s Ryan Seacrest, she gave a special shout-out to 9-month-old daughter Aviana, who was watching at home.

Breathlessly awaiting the 83rd Academy Awards ceremony Sunday? Questions about the Oscars keeping you up at night: Who will be the next fashion stunner (or trainwreck) on the red carpet? Will The King's Speech beat The Social Network for Best Picture? And when was the last time an actor like 127 Hours nominee James Franco managed to co-host the ceremony and win an Oscar on the same night?
Never fear, PEOPLE has you covered. As for that last question – It was 1959, when co-host David Niven won Best Actor for Separate Tables. It's just one of many little-known facts revealed in Red Carpet Trivia Live, the live online game launching on PEOPLE.com during the Oscars Sunday night.
The game will offer a stream of questions and fun facts about the presenters and nominees as they appear on TV. Here's a chance to brush up on some trivia in advance with five things you may not know about Hollywood's golden night.
1. The red carpet runs through a mall
The Oscars may be the only major awards show held in a shopping mall. The home of the Academy Awards, the Kodak Theatre, is tucked away in the middle of Hollywood & Highland Center, just past an Aveda store and an Auntie Anne's Pretzels.

Amy Adams's Daughter Makes Oscar Nod More Meaningful
Originally posted 02/22/2011 09:50AM
Millions will be watching Oscar nominee Amy Adams on Sunday. But Adams herself will be focused on one person in particular.
"I'm going to hang out with my little girl this time around," Adams, 36, who's been nominated twice before, tells ET when asked about her plans for the big day.
This nomination – a Best Supporting Actress nod for The Fighter – is more meaningful than the previous ones, Adams says, because of 9-month-old Aviana.
