Barkers rev up your engines. The Freak Show is over, and the incessant quote canonizing can begin.
As another season of American Horror Story closed on Wednesday, the freak fetishist became the freak. (If that meant we got to see Finn Wittrock in his skivvies, then so be it.) But Dandy Mott's downfall was just the beginning of the curiosities delivered by Elsa Mars and her band of outsiders.
Picking up short after Dandy (Wittrock) began his tyrannical rule of the side show, the anthology show's season finale was a veritable a parade of zingers and bon mots worthy of creator Ryan Murphy, starting with …

With the Lifetime biopic Whitney set to air Saturday, Cissy Houston, the mother of the iconic singer, who died in 2012, is speaking out about the TV movie that was made without the family's cooperation.
"I'm glad the Lifetime project is finished," Cissy Houston tells PEOPLE. "I hope from now on her fans will keep her child, [Bobbi Kristina Brown], in their prayers, and I hope people will let my child rest."
Adds a Houston family friend: "The family is not happy about this project. Bobby [Brown] and Whitney had a complicated relationship. I don't even think their loved ones understood it. So, for people who didn't know them to take on what, to some extent, dishonors them – and their relationship – that is the most hurtful."

Malcolm-Jamal Warner has been keeping a secret.
The 44-year-old actor, best known for playing Theo Huxtable on The Cosby Show, made a surprise appearance Wednesday on American Horror Story.
His scene was brief – he showed up at the beginning of the episode, sporting a smart fedora and a big grin. But by the look and sound of things, he is likely to make a comeback. He's introduced as a possible old lover of Desiree Dupree (Angela Bassett).

Whitney Houston's iconic life and career is coming to Lifetime in January, and the trailer is finally here.
Whitney is the directorial debut for Oscar-nominated actress Angela Bassett, who worked with Houston on Waiting to Exhale in 1995.
The film stars Harlem native Yaya DaCosta, 32, as the singer, who died in February 2012. DaCosta got her start on cycle 3 of America's Next Top Model in 2004. She has since gone on to do films such as 2006's Take the Lead with Antonio Banderas, and 2013's The Butler.

If anyone can take on a powerhouse like Jessica Lange, it would have to be someone with the physical prowess of Michael Chiklis.
As a "strongman," Chiklis made his American Horror Story: Freak Show debut Wednesday night and lived up to his title in more ways than one.
Wendell "Dell" Toledo (Chiklis) arrives at the camp of the titular Freak Show along with his wife, Desiree Dupree (Angela Bassett), a hermaphrodite with three boobs. With credentials like that, Dell thinks they should be shoo-ins as the new headliners, but Elsa Mars (Lange) is strapped for cash and hesitant to hire "The World's Strongest Man." However, she is eventually persuaded by his manly strength and his promise to help lead her band of merry misfits.
