In an emotional night, Angelina Jolie became the youngest ever winner of the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award on Saturday.
Also taking home honorary Oscars at the fifth annual Governors Awards were Angela Lansbury, Steve Martin (who choked up during his acceptance speech), and Italian costume designer Piero Tosi, who was unable to attend.
"My family, my love, your love and support make everything possible," said a clearly emotional Jolie, 38, who attended the event with fiancé Brad Pitt and eldest son Maddox. "Mad, and your brothers and sisters, there is no greater honor than being your mom."

Audiences got their first look at Angelina Jolie as an iconic Disney villain Wednesday, as the Tomb Raider actress made her dark debut in the first trailer for the upcoming film Maleficent, a Wicked-style take on the life of the evil Sleeping Beauty sorceress.
Jolie is but the latest in a long line of actors who have tried their hand at bringing the menace of Disney's animated villains to life onscreen.

Angelina Jolie is hauntingly beautiful as malevolent Maleficent in the new poster for the film about Sleeping Beauty's villain.
Her translucent skin, red lips and yellow eyes pop out from behind a large, sharp collar, and her bewitching stare is offset by black horns that appear to be encased in leather.
The look is so frightening that Jolie, 38, startled children who came to visit the Maleficent set.

Angelina Jolie met Louis Zamperini, the 96-year-old former Olympic runner and World War II prisoner of war, last winter when she signed on to direct Unbroken, based on Zamperini's life.
The pair became fast friends.
"Angelina is a human dynamo, and I know she will tell this story in the right way," said Zamperini, a bombardier who survived 47 days adrift in a lifeboat after a plane crash – only to be taken prisoner by the Japanese. Author Laura Hillenbrand's biography, Unbroken, became a bestseller in 2010.

They were named the highest-earning acting couple in Hollywood – raking in a whopping $50 million in 2013 – and Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt recently put their money to use at a jewelry store in Hong Kong.
The couple visited Emperor Watch and Jewellery (sic) Store while visiting Hong Kong on September 22 and spared no expense.
"They bought a Parmigiani Watch (an exclusive Swiss watch brand renowned for its quality) and some other jewelry products from our shop that day," Kristy Yue, Assistant Public Relations Manager, tells PEOPLE.

Well, they don't call her Queen Bey for nothing.
Beyoncé and her husband, Jay-Z, have topped Forbes magazine's list of the highest-earning celebrity couples.
The pair raked in an estimated $95 million between June 2012 and June 2013, thanks in part to the mother of one's Mrs. Carter Show world tour, which grossed an average of $2 million a night.

There was a time when I would only hear my male clients talk about how they wanted fit, chiseled arms. Nowadays, almost all of my female clients are adamant about having strong, sculpted arms, and that's thanks, in part, to the über-fit actresses dominating the movie screens of the '90s and early 2000s.
The incredible arms of Hilary Swank in Million Dollar Baby, Halle Berry in Catwoman, Demi Moore in G.I. Jane, Resident Evil's Milla Jovovich, and Angelina Jolie in Tomb Raider, all inspired women to lose the sleeves and focus on making their arms as amazing as the rest of their bodies.
There are two main muscle groups in the arms: The biceps, which are located on the front of the upper arms; and the triceps, which are on the back of the upper arms. The main function of the biceps is to bend the elbow, while the triceps straighten the arm at the elbow.

One of the world's most famous families met one of the world's most unusual animals: the dugong.
During a visit to the Sea Life Sydney Aquarium on Sept. 8, Angelina Jolie and her kids Knox, 5, Vivienne, 5, Shiloh, 7, Zahara, 8, and Pax, 9, came face-to-face with the aquarium's pair of dugongs, Pig and Wuru. The large marine mammals, which resemble manatees, are two of only six on display anywhere in the world. (For more information about the dugong, see the educational video below.)
A day earlier, Jolie, 38, took her brood to the Taronga Zoo in Sydney, where they saw Australian wildlife such as koalas, a ring-tailed possum and various reptiles.
