For Anna Faris, being named one of PEOPLE's Ones to Watch was doubly exciting – while she was "flattered" to get the honor, the mom of 14-month-old son Jack was just excited to be getting out of the house.
"I have a baby, I don't get to do this very often," the Mom star, 36, told PEOPLE at an event celebrating the honorees at Hinoki & The Bird restaurant in L.A. on Wednesday night.
Admitting she was excited to get inside and enjoy the "amazing food and amazing company" the 36-year-old said "it's surreal" to be named on this year's list alongside Benedict Cumberbatch, Rebel Wilson and country music newcomer Kacey Musgraves.

Whether a goofball comedian like Andy Samberg or an Oscar-contender such as Fruitvale Station's Michael B. Jordan, this year's coveted list of PEOPLE's Ones to Watch has something for everyone.
Samberg, who stars in Fox's new police comedy Brooklyn Nine-Nine, says the family member most proud of his success is his father.
"There's a joke now that my dad will somehow find a way to work into a conversation anywhere with anyone that I'm his son," says the actor, laughing. "Probably to try and leverage it to get free stuff. Where they live that happens about one in every thousand times because no one cares, but bless his heart for trying."

Chris Pratt has rediscovered his six pack by giving them up.
"Six months no beer," Pratt posted on Twitter over the weekend, adding: "My brother made me post this."
The selfie showed the amazing physical transformation he's undergoing for his part in the upcoming sci-fi movie, Guardians of the Galaxy, which he name-checked with the hash tag GOTG, and elicited a response from famous friends.

CBS is the warrior king of networks, and its upfront typically feels like the ritual unfurling of an illustrated tapestry of conquests.
This year's event included the cast of How I Met Your Mother, now heading into its final season, singing a parody of Les Misérables beneath yellow umbrellas on the Carnegie Hall stage.
David Letterman, who is now the official anti-Jimmy of late night, made a brief (and rare) appearance, and Robin Williams, a high-profile addition to the lineup with a new sitcom called The Crazy Ones, gave the crowd a few moments of fast-riffing standup. He mentioned prostitutes, cocaine, FOX News and the notoriously bizarre variety show Pink Lady and Jeff.
Here are three shows that struck me as keepers, at least for as long as the audience will have them.
