Stop! Hammer time.
Armie Hammer and Padma Lakshmi felt the need for speed during the Audi Sportscar Experience at the Raceway at Sonoma, Calif. on Saturday.
Alongside his wife Elizabeth Chambers, the Lone Ranger star had the chance to drive Audi R8, RS 5 and TT RS vehicles.
"Armie and Elizabeth were lovey-dovey the entire time, constantly holding hands or with their arms around one another," an onlooker tells PEOPLE.
"They both got behind the wheel to take laps on the track, but after just one round, Armie swooped Elizabeth up up in his arms and carried her – Prince Charming style – after they got out of the car," the source adds.
Meanwhile, Top Chef host Lakshmi came dressed like a pro in black leggings, boots and a stunning red and black leather jacket.

Johnny Depp: Did Marilyn Manson Inspire Tonto Look?
Originally posted 04/20/2012 08:40AM
After going with a Keith Richards look in Pirates of the Caribbean, Johnny Depp may have a new rocker muse.
The actor has not only been jamming on stage with Marilyn Manson, but it appears he's also borrowed the musician's makeup tips for his Tonto character.
Depp, 48, recently displayed Manson-esque whitened face, dark-ringed eyes and long stringy dark hair during a break in filming The Long Ranger when he met gift-bearing visitors from the Navajo Nation.
The film, starring Armie Hammer as the Lone Ranger, hits theaters in May 2013.

Johnny Depp Receives Gifts from 'Star Struck' Navajo Visitors
Originally posted 04/14/2012 11:40AM
A bare-chested Johnny Depp welcomed gift-bearing visitors from the Navajo Nation while filming The Lone Ranger in the remote Monument Valley on Thursday.
Dressed as Tonto, the actor shared the good will visit with Navajo president Ben Shelly and vice president Rex Lee Jim, who presented Depp and costar Armie Hammer with Pendleton blankets.
Despite brisk, windy conditions, Depp posed for pictures, although when he was presented with the thick wool blanket he flung off the poncho he had been wearing and wrapped the blanket around his shoulders.
"This is a good trade," he said.

Mirror, Mirror, the new adaptation of Snow White directed by Tarsem Singh (Immortals), stars Julia Roberts as the evil Queen, Lily Collins as Snow White and Armie Hammer as the charming Prince Alcott.
The film is slight but fun, which just might be enough to lure tween girls away from The Hunger Games.
Here are three good reasons why you should go see it:

Known for his fanciful characters and outlandish costumes, Johnny Depp does it again as Tonto in The Lone Ranger.
In a new photograph from Disney's upcoming fictional western, the actor, 48, is wearing elaborate face paint – and a bird on his head – for his role as the Native American sidekick to Armie Hammer's Lone Ranger character.
Hammer, 25, who goes by the alter ego John Reid when he's not the Ranger, is joined by Depp's character on a quest to fight injustice in the American Old West.

Armie Hammer will certainly be looking his best when he hits the red carpet at the Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday. But he's looking pretty darn good in a mug shot that's just been released.
The J. Edgar star, who's nominated for best supporting actor, posed for this picture in November, when he was arrested for marijuana possession in Sierra Nevada, Texas.
Authorities allege they found pot cookies and a brownie, according to the police report.

Armie Hammer Will Play the Lone Ranger Alongside Johnny Depp
Originally posted 05/19/2011 04:35PM
Armie Hammer will play the masked crusader in Disney's version of The Lone Ranger, Entertainment Weekly reports.
Joining Hammer in the saddle will be Johnny Depp as his sidekick Tonto.
But don't expect it to be a similar partnership to the one in the classic Western TV series.
"I remember watching [the show] as a kid and going: 'Why is the f–ing Lone Ranger telling Tonto what to do?' " Depp previously told EW. "I knew Tonto was getting the unpleasant end of the stick here. When the idea came up [for the movie], I started thinking about Tonto and what could be done in my own small way try to reinvent the relationship, to attempt to take some of the ugliness thrown on the Native Americans – not only in The Lone Ranger, but the way Indians were treated throughout history of cinema – and turn it on its head."
The 6' 5" Hammer, who is the great-grandson of tycoon Armand Hammer, gained notoriety playing both of the Winklevoss twins in The Social Network. He will next be seen in Clint Eastwood’s J. Edgar.
