Joe and Tina Simpson's Divorce Is Finalized

Joe and Tina Simpson's 34-year marriage is officially over.
A source confirms to PEOPLE that Jessica Simpson and Ashlee Simpson's parents' divorce has been finalized. Tina, 53, filed for divorce in October and cited "discord or conflict of personalities" in court papers.
"It's an amicable split and there is no third party involved. Any other related allegations are completely false," a family rep told PEOPLE last fall amid rumors that Joe, 55, had come out to his family.

Jessica and Ashlee Simpson dined at BLT Steak at the Ritz-Carlton in Charlotte, N.C., over the weekend.
The sisters were in town to promote Jessica's fashion line at Charlotte's Southpark Mall with the help of her daughter, Maxwell.
Jessica, who is expecting her second child with fiancé Eric Johnson, this summer, wore a black tank and black pants with studded black heels. Both girls ordered the same dishes for dinner; a filet and a slice of peanut butter mousse cake for dessert.

"Jess is awesome," Simpson told PEOPLE in the way of a pregnancy update on her sister, who's expecting her second child. "I think we both equally look up to each other ... [She's] my big sister and I'm proud of her."
"And she's a great mom – and a great pregnant lady," Ashlee continued.

The New York Post's Page Six reports that after a year and a half of dating, Ashlee Simpson and Vincent Piazza have called it quits.
"Vincent has been working a lot, so he hasn't been able to spend as much time with Ashlee, which has caused some problems," a source tells the newspaper. "It was a mutual agreement to split, but things have been bumpy for a little while, so perhaps they might reconcile."

Joe Simpson will fight the charges that he allegedly drove drunk last month in Los Angeles.
Simpson, 54, the father of Jessica and Ashlee, pleaded not guilty in an L.A. courtroom on Thursday, TMZ.com reports.
He is charged with two misdemeanor counts of driving under the influence. If convicted, he could face six months in jail, a $1,000 fine and 36 months of probation.

Joe Simpson was charged on Tuesday with two misdemeanor counts of driving under the influence.
The 54-year-old father of Jessica Simpson and Ashlee Simpson was arrested on Aug. 4 after he was pulled over at approximately 10 p.m. on Ventura Boulevard in the Sherman Oaks area of Los Angeles.
"He had had a couple of glasses of wine at dinner with his wife. They were driving home and he went through a check point a few blocks from the restaurant," a source close to Joe Simpson tells PEOPLE.
"He took a breathalyzer voluntarily thinking nothing of it. He was surprised to know that he was over the limit. He learned a very important lesson from it all."
