Are the liars finally getting closer to the truth?
Tuesday night's winter premiere of Pretty Little Liars had some satisfying plot points, tying up threads left dangling from the fall finale and Christmas special. But as usual, Rosewood's most unlucky residents didn't get the happy ending they'd been hoping for. (Spoilers ahead!)
The episodes flashes forward three months from Christmas, and the girls are mourning villain-turned-victim Mona (Janel Parrish) at her empty casket funeral. The liars wear purple leis over their chic black dresses – except for Ali (Sasha Pieterse), who's fashionably late in a bright floral getup. But it's not her funeral-inappropriate style that offends Mona's mom.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Rosewood!

Now, the wait is almost over: The hit ABC Family drama, about an anonymous adversary who sends threatening messages to a group of girlfriends, returns Tuesday with its revered holiday episode – this time swapping the Halloween backdrop for Christmas.
For those concerned that Yuletide cheer might overshadow the usual mysterious and frightening aspects of the show, fear not. Showrunner Marlene King assures PEOPLE this episode will have the same level of scare and mystery as previous installments – just with a bit more mistletoe.

Children and grown-ups alike flocked to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in its first weekend of release, and now Hollywood is betting the the '90s nostalgia wave will last least two more years – on Wenesday, Lionsgate announced that its Mighty Morphin Power Rangers reboot will hit theaters on July 22, 2016.
The studio has signed the the writers of Thor, to produce a script off a story by Star Trek's Robert Orci. There are no plot details yet, but knowing that Lionsgate was the studio behind Ender's Game, The Hunger Games and I, Frankenstein, it's likely the Power Rangers movie will skew in the same dour, effects-driven direction.
So let's cast the thing, then, with the quality of actors who might be able to bring a gritty realness to this tale of five teenagers with attitude picked to defeat the evil Rita Repulsa. We're gong to abide by the same racial casting standards used in the first iteration of the Power Rangers squad. If it makes you uncomfortable, that's OK – that awkwardness is practically an integral part of Power Rangers at this point.

Spring Breakers is a year old Saturday – hardly ready for the kind of "We're so old" nostalgizing that greets every movie anniversary these days.
But still, in the 12 months since encountering the Day-Glo rush of its first trailers, our affection for Harmony Korine's simultaneous celebration and critique of mindless hedonism has grown with each subsequent viewing.
In honor of the anniversary of Faith, Cotty, Candy and Brit's life-changing vacation, we're looking back at four memorable moments from the film. As James Franco's Alien says: "Bikinis and big booties, y'all – that's what life is about."
