Now that the Full House reboot is officially, really, definitely happening – John Stamos announced the joyous news earlier this week – we are officially, really, definitely getting excited about welcoming the Tanner family back into our homes. Whichever actors end up signing on to the project (negations are still ongoing with Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, Bob Saget, Dave Coulier and Lori Loughlin), we know the spin-off will bring a whole new wave of laughs, wisdom nuggets and we're-not-crying-I-got-hot-sauce-in-my-eyes moments.

Would Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen guest-star on the new spin-off Fuller House? Conventional wisdom may say no way, but the twin stars have not.
"We just found out about it today," Mary-Kate said in a late-Tuesday interview with Women's Wear Daily. "I guess we're going to talk to the creators and see what's happening."
What's more, the twins who played Michelle Tanner from 1987 to 1995 (but have been largely absent from social cast reunions and spin-off buzz) found out with the rest of the world that Full House will live again on television. According to WWD, they had no prior knowledge before John Stamos broke the news.

Between all those unofficial cast reunions and reruns galore, it's hard to believe it's been two decades since Full House went off the air.

Whether or not you grew up idolizing twin actresses Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, you couldn't avoid them – they pretty much owned the '90s. Starring in Full House as the adorable, catch-phrase-coining tot Michelle Tanner, the girls also anchored a wildly successful franchise of straight-to-VHS films in which they got involved in all sorts of international antics – all while rocking the latest in '90s fashion (overalls, kerchiefs, visors middle parts and so, so much more).

It's been 20 long years since we bid adieu to San Francisco's favorite family on Full House, but this decades-long hiatus may be coming to a close. Last week, TV Line reported that the classic California-set series would be making a reappearance in a modern-day revival – on Netflix.

There's no shortage of Full House fans eager to see the rumored sitcom revival make it to television.
The entirety of the cast, however, may be another story.
"Not everybody would want to do it. Maybe two-thirds of the cast would want to," Bob Saget, who played Danny Tanner on the 1987-1995 series, told PEOPLE in April while promoting his memoir, Dirty Daddy.
"John [Stamos] is such a good guy, and I think he would want it to happen in some way if it could. There's some stuff going on, I don't get involved in it, where people were trying to put some energy into it … [But] I don't think it will happen in a way that it would be everybody. "

While Mary-Kate Olsen and fiancé Olivier Sarkozy have managed to keep much of their romance private, the pair stepped out in the Hamptons over the weekend and weren't too shy to share some PDA.
