Sienna Miller's Mom to Critics: Stop the 'Feeding Frenzy'

While Sienna Miller hangs in L.A. with still-married beau Balthazar Getty, her mother is defending the couple's relationship and calling for an end to the "feeding frenzy" surrounding the scandal.
"You can't understand how a woman seeing a man who has been separated from his wife [Rosetta Getty] for months can cause such a scandal," she told the U.K.'s Daily Express newspaper. "It's awful, I can't tell you. You wonder when it's all going to stop."
Close friends of Rosetta Getty, 38, have told PEOPLE that the couple was "in no way separated" when the Brothers & Sisters star began dating Miller. One friend said: "Any implication otherwise is an absolute lie. Balthazar's affair has been utterly devastating to Rosetta and her family."

Sienna Miller Sues over Tryst Photos

Sienna Miller is striking back against two British newspapers and a photo agency for publishing shots of her cavorting with married actor Balthazar Getty off the Amalfi coast.
The actress accuses them of breach of privacy and has filed suit in London's High Court, her legal representatives confirm to PEOPLE.
Miller and the law firm of Carter-Ruck are taking aim at the photo agency Big Pictures and News International, which publishes the News of the World and Sun newspapers, which ran a series of stories and (scantily clad) pictures of Miller on vacation with the Brothers and Sisters star.

In the wake of Balthazar Getty's announcement that he and his wife Rosetta have separated, friends say Rosetta was "blindsided" by her husband's affair with Sienna Miller.
The Brothers & Sisters star announced that he and Rosetta, 38, had separated in a statement released Monday. The announcement came after photos revealed Getty, 33 and Miller, 26, cavorting in Italy, including many of her topless.
Now pals are bristling over comments from Getty's camp suggesting that he and Rosetta had been living separate lives for some time before his relationship with Miller became public.

Balthazar Getty: Yes, My Wife and I Have Separated

Balthazar Getty, who has been photographed smooching actress Sienna Miller, has announced that he's splitting from his wife Rosetta Getty, with whom he has four children.
"The breakdown of a marriage is a very difficult and painful experience
especially when children are involved," he said in a statement released Monday. "In light of the fact that many pictures have surfaced in print and on the Internet which has caused myself and my family great embarrassment, I felt it necessary to at least acknowledge publicly that yes indeed my wife and I have separated and I will not be commenting any further."
The Brothers & Sisters actor, 33, was recently seen with Miller, who was topless, in a boat off the Amalfi coast.
A friend told PEOPLE that Getty's wife is upset by the public affair. "It's humiliating," a friend said. "Rosetta left the country to protect the kids, and he continues to see Sienna publicly."

Sienna Miller's steamy affair – and much of her body – has been exposed now that the barely clad actress has been spotted kissing married Balthazar Getty in a boat off the Amalfi coast.
Miller, who had a roller-coaster relationship with Jude Law and broke up with actor Rhys Ifans only weeks ago, has been quietly dating Getty for "at least two months," said a source.
Miller, sporting a sailor's cap, was also spotted topless on the balcony of an Italian hotel room kissing Getty. Meanwhile, the Brothers & Sisters actor, 33, and his wife Rosetta "have been living separate lives for a while," a source tells PEOPLE.
Getty, who has a tattoo of his wife's name on his chest, married Rosetta in May 2000. They had their fourth child together 10 months ago.
