Ben Flajnik: I Miss My Dog

Becoming reality TV's most eligible Bachelor came with perks for Ben Flajnik – like finding fiancée Courtney Robertson. One major downside? All the jet-setting has separated Flajnik from his dog, Scotch.

"Oh, God, yes, I miss him," Flajnik told PEOPLE at the Mark Zunino for Kleinfeld runway presentation in New York on Monday. "I don't even want to start talking about it. That's the hardest part about traveling."

"[Scotch] is the screen saver on [Ben's] computer," Robertson offered as a kind of confirmation.

Bachelor Ben Hits Vegas – Without Courtney

Originally posted 04/09/2012 06:00AM

Bachelor star Ben Flajnik took a business trip to Las Vegas sans fiancée Courtney Robertson – but that didn't stop him from going out on the town.

Early in his visit, the reality star dined at Joe's Stone Crab, where he shared a glass of wine with a colleague. Flajnik, who owns a vineyard, was friendly with bar staff and chatted about various wines. And when two female patrons noticed him, he was nice enough to play wingman as his friend chatted them up.

Two nights later, Flajnik, who was staying at the Luxor, took in Criss Angel Believe, a joint show between the magician and Cirque du Soleil. Joined by two business partners, Flajnik enjoyed popcorn and cocktails during the performance. Afterward, they headed backstage to chat up Angel.

Ben Flajnik and his fiancée Courtney Robertson got plenty of quality time together last weekend on their first vacation as a couple, but there was definitely something missing: dogs!

When the Bachelor pair learned that the owner of their boutique hotel, the Hacienda San Angel in Puerta Vallarta, Mexico, had built an animal rescue shelter just outside of town, they knew they had to pay a visit.

The Bachelor's Ben Flajnik and Courtney Robertson are still a happy couple – but their relationship is, for now, still a long-distance one.

"We're taking it slow," Flajnik told PEOPLE at SVEDKA's Night of a Billion Reality Stars Bash at Supperclub in Los Angeles Thursday. "We haven't decided on a date when she's going to move up to San Francisco yet, so she's got a lot of trips planned. It's nice to get away from the noise and spend time with each other."

Added the reality star: "We're happy."

Lindzi Cox: The Bachelor Taught Me to Be a Better Dater

Originally posted 03/14/2012 12:15PM

Although she scored the first impression rose and remained drama-free throughout the season, Lindzi Cox, 27, was the runner-up in the race for Ben Flajnik's heart. The Seattle-based business development manager spoke to PEOPLE Tuesday about how she bounced back from The Bachelor. "I'm so glad I did this show," Lindzi told PEOPLE. "It was such an awesome experience." And though she admits that she was in love with Ben, who "turned out to be a great guy," she believes the show "ended the way it should have." And now, she's ready to date again. "I'm excited to see what else is out there," she says, "The Bachelor was such a good experience for me to learn how to date that I realize in the past I wasn't really good at it ... I think I'm going to be a pretty good dater now."

Later, Lindzi spoke to reporters about her "call me" comment in the finale and whether or not she would do The Bachelorette or Bachelor Pad:

Ben Flajnik Writes Final Blog as The Bachelor

Originally posted 03/14/2012 09:45AM

My final blog as The Bachelor. Aside from having hair that looked like a water buffalo, the day I proposed was an exciting day. This damn hair. Maybe it is time for a cut.

Boy, it has been a long time coming, and I am so happy it's all over. It has been a rough road, full of ups and downs, scrutiny and negativity.

What I will say is that I have found the positives to focus on amidst all the speculation and hate. People don't know what it's like to go through an experience like this, and until they have been a contestant – or the person in the driver's seat – I say, "Take it easy, because you aren't speaking from personal experience."

We have all decided to put ourselves out there in hopes of love, and we all know love can be messy.

Ben Flajnik's decision to propose to controversial contestant Courtney Robertson on The Bachelor's season finale shocked and upset many of the franchise's millions of fans. But Ben isn't going to lose sleep over that.

After addressing the trouble in their relationship on the After The Final Rose special, Ben hopes "people will get a better understanding of who we are and why we're still together," he tells PEOPLE exclusively.

Ben admits he saw signs of Courtney's catty behavior – "like when she would skip back after getting a rose," he says – but when he talked to the other women about it, he didn't get a straight answer.

She didn't get the final rose from Ben Flajnik on Monday night's The Bachelor, but Lindzi Cox has nothing bad to say about the man who told her he was "in love with someone else."

"I wish them nothing but the best," she said on Tuesday's Good Morning America, about Flajnik and the woman he proposed to, Ford model Courtney Robertson.

Although Cox, 27, says she doesn't know if they'll make it as a couple, during the reveal that Flajnik and Robertson were essentially broken up while the show aired, Cox says she's "in a good place" now.
