Good news, '90s kids: Boy Meets World's other beloved couple will appear on an upcoming episode of Disney's successful spin-off.
Rider Strong (Shawn Hunter) and Trina McGee (Angela Moore) will both guest-star on an upcoming episode of Girl Meets World, creator Michael Jacobs revealed at the ATX Television Festival in Austin, Texas on Friday – but it doesn't sound like their characters are getting their own happy ending like Ben Savage's Cory Matthews and Danielle Fishel's Topanga Lawrence.
"You guys are going to kill me for what we decided to do with Shawn and Angela, but I will tell you that it is right, it is real, and you're going to have to watch the episode six times before you put the guns down," Jacobs said at the show's panel as the crowd laughed.

Millennials' favorite high-school sweethearts are returning to TV this summer – with a twist.
Cory and Topanga, the Philadelphia couple whose love was immortalized on Boy Meets World, are no longer fresh-faced youngsters sorting out the mysteries of life. On the upcoming Disney Channel spin-off Girl Meets World, the pair are now grown parents raising a daughter of their own. Yes, that's right: Cory Matthews's dad jokes will finally be age-appropriate.

OK, so that may just be the millennial interpretation of events; for the tweens Girls Meets World is aimed at, the teaser introduces the adventures of Riley Matthews (Rowan Blanchard) and her best friend, Maya, whose troublemaking schemes are foiled by Riley's parents, a couple the camera seems to spend a longer-than-average amount of time lingering over.

Bert and Ernie. Joey and Chandler. TV land is brimming with memorable bromances.
But were Cory and Shawn from Boy Meets World the best ever?
In this behind-the-scenes look at the show, the duo certainly give things a good shot.
"Sean and Cory have true bromance," says one of the talking heads in the clip. "They started it all."
