Justin Timberlake 'Crushed' Over Death of Adam Yauch

The untimely death of Beastie Boy Adam Yauch at age 47 has drawn sympathy and sad reactions from many in the music community. Among them: Justin Timberlake, who remembered the rapper, filmmaker and father as a "true pioneer of art."
"Crushed to hear the news of Adam Yauch's passing," Timberlake Tweeted. "My thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones.#RIPMCA."
Jay-Z posted a black and white image of Yauch on his website with a heartfelt message, writing, "May a great musical pioneer rest in peace. Our prayers go out to his family, as his hip hop family mourns our loss and celebrates his life."
Other musicians, like Benji Madden, said the Brooklyn-born musician inspired them to pursue their dreams.
"This news hits hard," Madden Tweeted. "The Beastie Boys are 1of the reasons I do music&MCA was the captain."

Christina Aguilera is rebounding – discreetly – from the collapse of her marriage to Jordan Bratman.
The superstar singer, 29, has quietly been seeing Matthew D. Rutler, a set assistant from her upcoming movie Burlesque – whom she tried to hide from the cameras Friday when they enjoyed a double date at SoHo House in Los Angeles with friends Nicole Richie and Joel Madden.
A friend tells PEOPLE that the relationship with Rutler started as a friendship, then turned into something more.

• Benji Madden was partying at Sapphire Gentlemen's Club in Vegas in a skybox with three male pals. The rocker ordered rosé champagne and stayed for a few hours with four female entertainers. The next night, he returned with brother Joel and another friend. The group headed back to the skybox, this time ordering a magnum of champagne.

For the star of a Vegas production called PEEPSHOW, Holly Madison is adept at keeping things under wraps – at least when it comes to her relationship with Good Charlotte guitarist Benji Madden.
They were virtually inseparable over the past week in Las Vegas. She wore a "Team Benji" shirt to support his celebrity boxing bout on Saturday and was spotted with him again as he deejayed at Moon Nightclub's Bang Tuesdays.
She's called them "adventure buddies," and while she doesn't shoot down the suggestion there's a romance, she's coy about what they really do have going. When asked if they're just friends, she says, "something like that."

She once called him her "adventure buddy"" but will Holly Madison soon be calling Benji Madden her boyfriend?
"It's heating up between them," a source tells PEOPLE about the former Girls Next Door star and the Good Charlotte guitarist, who were first spotted together at a L.A. coffee shop in December.
The duo kicked off the holiday weekend together in Las Vegas, where Madden, 31, won a celebrity boxing match at the Hard Rock Hotel Saturday night. Madison, 30, and some pals showed their support by wearing a "Team Benji" shirts.
After the fight, the two headed over to club Wasted Space, where they avoided photographers and sat hand-in-hand in a VIP room for two hours. At one point in the night, Madden took to the club's stage and performed with Taintstick, a hard rock band he joined on the side last year, before leaving with club with Madison.
The night before, they dropped by the Palms' N9NE Steakhouse with Joel Madden after Madison performed in her burlesque revue, Peepshow, and continued their night at the Playboy club.

Benji Madden Wins Celebrity Boxing Match

If music doesn't work out for Benji Madden, he may want to look into boxing.
The Good Charlotte guitarist fought former MTV host Riki Rachtman in a celebrity bout on Saturday night in Las Vegas. In only one minute and 40 seconds, the referee stopped the fight after Madden knocked Rachtman down three times.
After his victory, Madden, who was escorted to the ring by his brother Joel Madden, climbed the ropes of the ring to celebrate.
"Benji Madden just kicked my ass," Rachtman after the match. "I got wasted by the guy in Good Charlotte."

While some reports are calling Benji Madden Holly Madison's "boyfriend," the former Girls Next Door star is labeling him her "adventure buddy."
"I don't want to talk about him, except that I like him," Madison told PEOPLE when asked about reports linking her to the Good Charlotte guitarist.
The possible coupling comes after the duo were spotted in Los Angeles at a coffee shop. The two have also flirted over Twitter, with Madden even hyping Madison's E! show with Tweets.
