Bethenny Frankel has been an open book about her bitter divorce from Jason Hoppy and their custody battle over their 3-year-old daughter, Bryn.
But now she's ready to muse about what might lie ahead for her, as she begins a new chapter in her life.
"Acceptance. Confidence. Sense of humor. Ability to take charge. I'm always so in charge, I'd like someone else to take charge," she says in the December issue of Health regarding what she's looking for in a new romantic partner.

Bethenny Frankel is introducing a brand new refreshment – and this time, it doesn't matter whether it's 5 o'clock somewhere.
The former Real Housewives of New York star, new talk show host and founder of Skinnygirl cocktails, is launching a new line of 5-calorie sparkling waters called Skinnygirl Sparklers.
"I haven't been this excited about a business decision since I started my company," Frankel told PEOPLE backstage at her new syndicated talk show Bethenny in New York.
Says the star, "I know we have to drink it, but I don't really love water. I like my drink to be a little more exciting." So after receiving fan requests for a non-alcoholic beverage line, Frankel, 43, and her team came up with the new flavored sparkling waters.

When Omarosa Manigault appeared on her archrival Bethenny Frankel's talk show on Wednesday, confrontation was expected – and viewers weren't disappointed.
The pair – who've been feuding for more than three years since Frankel dismissed The Apprentice star as nothing more than a reality TV villain – didn't hold back. In the segment, Manigault suggested that the reason why Frankel had been successful was because she was white.
"It's different for you and I," she told the talk show host. "I am an African-American woman. You get to walk around and be mediocre and you still get rewarded with things. We have to be exceptional to get anything in this business."

Martha Stewart has some choice words to share with Bethenny Frankel about a prickly subject: divorce.
In an episode of Bethenny airing Monday, the domestic diva chats with the talk-show host about family and relationships, opening up about her own 1990 divorce from publisher Andy Stewart.
"It's a horrible thing to go through a divorce. Unfortunately, it wasn't a compromise. It was his choice, by the way, not mine," she says.
Stewart's advice? "The best thing to do is think of your partner as a piece of you-know-what. It's over and get on with your life."

It's been a tough nine months for Bethenny Frankel since she announced her split from husband Jason Hoppy last December.
After the divorce that she once hoped would be "amicable" instead turned angry, Frankel, 42, became locked in a battle with her ex over her fortune, at the very same time she was launching her new syndicated talk show, Bethenny, which premiered this week.
"You just just have to say we're going to get to the other side," she says in a revealing interview in this week's PEOPLE, on newsstands Friday. "I'm not going to be afraid and I'm not going to get more than I can handle."

Bethenny Frankel recently admitted that she's going through a brutal time in her divorce with Jason Hoppy, so it's not surprising that she's a little gun-shy about the idea of walking down the aisle again.
"I don't know that I would get remarried," the 42-year-old admits in October's Redbook. "It's too soon to think about it. But I'd listen to my gut. All through reality television, being honest, saying what's on my mind – that was my gut."
The new daytime host, whose Bethenny premieres on Sept. 9, has a lot on her plate. This includes juggling the new TV gig with her other business interests, such as her Skinnygirl cocktail brand, along with being a mom to her daughter, Bryn, 3.

With her brutal divorce from Jason Hoppy and the demanding schedule of her daytime talk show, it's a demanding time for Bethenny Frankel. But she's not the only one who's dog-tired.
"This talk show is exhausting," reads the caption of a Twitter photo, showing her beloved (and sleep-deprived!) pooch Cookie catching some Zzz's.
Hours before, the talk show host, 42, whose talk show Bethenny debuts Sept. 9 after an earlier test run, Tweeted that each day is like a roller coaster ride with her 3-year-old daughter Bryn.
