It has not been the easiest of times for Bethenny Frankel, between her ongoing bitter divorce battle and the recent cancelation of her talk show. But, Frankel says, she is now beginning to feel "a little liberation."
"I am dating, and I am happy," Frankel, 43, told Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live Tuesday night. "I'm good. I feel a little liberation, a little bit of freedom, just a little bit of not feeling so bad. It's been a really, really hard time."

When The Real Housewives of New York City returns March 11, viewers won't get a glimpse of Ramona Singer's marital split.
"You'll see Mario and I together," Singer, 56, tells former costar Bethenny Frankel on an episode of her talk show, Bethenny, airing Tuesday. "Right now, I'm going through some adversity, but through adversity you become stronger."

Bethenny Frankel is happy to have a break.
The reality star and Skinnygirl mogul wrote an open letter on her website to address her talk show's cancellation, and says that although she enjoyed aspects of the show, including her staff and crew, she felt restricted by the format and is happy to get some breathing space.
"I felt a bit diluted, filtered and somewhat constricted," Frankel, 43, says. "I am a free spirit. My late father (a horse trainer) used to say, 'She is a mustang. You need to let her run.'"
"So to answer how I feel, I am relieved. What I really want right now is to be with my daughter, to do yoga, to focus on Skinnygirl and my writing, and to give myself a break."

Bethenny Frankel has played her hand well ... just about as well as anyone who found fame with a reality show called The Real Housewives of New York City could.
No, she played it better – she has been disciplined and smart. Look at IMDb.com: Bethenny has 41 credits as herself. Jill Zarin has only 25.
And, yes, LuAnn de Lesseps acted on Law and Order: Special Victims Unit and released a single called "Chic, C'est La Vie." However, the ultimate reality star is she who builds the strongest career for herself as herself.
