Are Landon Donovan and Estranged Wife Bianca Kajlich Reconciling?

Landon Donovan may not be single after all: Though the soccer star quietly split from Rules of Engagement actress Bianca Kajlich two years ago, the couple's marriage isn't completely over just yet.
"We are not officially divorced," Donovan, who gave the Rules of Engagement star a shout-out after scoring the game-winning goal during Wednesday's World Cup match against Algeria, tells Yahoo! Sports.
In fact, not only did the LA Galaxy midfielder, 28, also blow Kajlich, 33, a kiss during a post-game interview, he spoke to her early Thursday morning in an emotional phone call. "It was nice," he says about the conversation.

Rules of Engagement star Bianca Kajlich and her husband, soccer star Landon Donovan, are separated, PEOPLE has learned exclusively. "The separation is amicable," says a spokesperson for the couple.
Kajlich and Donovan, a member of the L.A. Galaxy team, wed on New Year's Eve 2006 at the Bacara Resort in Santa Barbara. The couple quietly split several months ago.
